Chapter 164 - Day 164: Elemental Weapon (II)

"I suppose that would be a point in Ragna's favor, it seems that you have taught him well, Master." Shino had just seen Ragna's movement, and even though his movements could not escape her sight, she could not help but notice the delicacy of these.

"It's just small details, the battle hasn't even really started... But don't try to deflect the topic, what did you mean that your disciple entered the runic path recently?" Mei wasn't going to let this go, she knew that Shino isn't the type to lie outright and if what she said was true, she would have to reassess Blake again.

"Did I say that? I think you misheard, master. Maybe the trip affected her and she needs to rest a bit." Shino had covered her mouth to prevent her smile from showing, but she was clearly doing it to tease Mei a bit.

"Okay, I guess I'll let this go for now, then you can tell me everything calmly." After Mei said that, the scene of Blake taking that strange battle position appeared in front of both of them. "Hmm... It's the first time I've seen this, did you teach him some new fighting style?"

"I'd like to give you an answer, master, but it's also the first time I've seen Blake displaying that figure." Shino was also somewhat curious and was trying to figure out the purpose of it.

Blake's body was in a somewhat strange position, it was practically open to any attack, his right leg was in front as he leaned on his left side as his arms fell slightly back and his head lowered towards his chest.

"So... You mean he developed it on his own?" Mei was also somewhat expectant, she couldn't clearly say the way Blake would fight and that worried her a bit.

"Ufufu, maybe that's the case, Blake is quite self-taught when it comes to these things, I'm just sure of one thing, it will be enough to surprise us." Shino didn't think that Blake was doing that for no reason, so she expected a surprise.

"Well, even so, it's a bit difficult to overcome a difference of two levels of strength, if your disciple was at least one level below Ragna, it would be a bit more difficult to guess who will win." Mei was being honest, she was experienced enough to express this, she had seen many matches where the difference in power was high, and almost always those matches ended with victory for the strongest in terms of the level in the runic path.

"I thought nothing was written to the end, master. Perhaps he holds Ragna in too high esteem."

"It's not that I don't have a reason to do it, but if the occasion arises, you'll know why I'm so sure of Ragna's victory." Mei had finished what she wanted to say and Shino didn't bother to say anything else, she knew enough well her master, and noticing the security in her words, she couldn't help but worry a little about Blake.

Returning to the field, the battle seemed to have stopped for a moment after Blake took his position, Ragna was hesitating whether to get closer now that he had the chance, but in the end, he realized that he would achieve nothing by standing still, so, repeating the same as before, he began to move.

For any normal person, it could be said that Ragna had just disappeared, but that was not entirely true, actually, the speed with which his body was moving was enough to make it seem like that had happened, and that was what had taken Blake by surprise before, but he had learned his lesson.

Ragna's figure had moved until he appeared again in front of Blake, his raised fist indicating that the same situation as before was going to repeat, but before that happened, Ragna felt his body begin to fly backward while a deep pain buried itself in his chest.

He had managed to regain his balance after stepping back a considerable distance, his knees were touching the grass as his breath escaped from his chest, now he was looking at the ground while supporting himself with one of his hands, at first he didn't know what had happened, but when he turned his gaze to Blake, everything had become clear enough.

Now it was Blake's turn to have a smile on his face, his head was tilted forward after hitting Ragna with it, he hadn't given it enough time before, but now he had used rök at just the right time to notice that Ragna had appeared in front of him.

That strange position and movements were the same fighting style as when he transformed into a wooly, he was aware that he did not need weapons to carry it out, and although he could not make the most of it since he was in his human form, the result did not disappoint him seeing Ragna's state, although he felt a little pain in his head.

Ragna was somewhat disconcerted, he didn't know that Blake's physical strength was of that magnitude, this being enough for that simple headbutt to cause him that pain, he had already managed to get up to stay on his two feet again, but still without recovering from his initial surprise, something new made him unable to calm down.

As if the world was playing a joke on him, now he had been the one who didn't know when Blake had disappeared, Ragna had released his rök to avoid a surprise attack, but at the moment he felt how his legs were grabbed by the hands of Blake and couldn't react in time.

Ragna felt how his body was lifted into the air and then began to rotate repeatedly, maybe he could have done something to free himself, but his lack of experience was showing up since the sudden movement did not make him think clearly.

Blake kept grabbing Ragna's legs as he turned his body around on himself, he was practically performing a wooly tornado, but now in his human form. He was also happy that his invisibility technique worked this time, which allowed him to take Ragna by surprise.

A rush of strength had gone out of his body the moment he activated his technique, which meant that he could lift Ragna's body without much effort, the turns he took would be enough to make anyone dizzy, but Blake was not affected by this. He was focused on reaching the highest possible speed, and without paying attention to Ragna's situation, he ended up letting go of his body to finish the job.
