"Tsk!"
"Grrrghh!" Only a second passed, but it was enough to realize how sparks and flashes came out at the moment that the raccoon used his claws to continuously attack the shield that Blake was using to protect himself.
The first exchange seemed to go in the raccoon's favor, and it was happy about it, but the moment it felt its instincts tell it to move, it knew it was too late.
Throwing his shield along with the raccoon's body, Blake took his sword firmly and took advantage of his enemy's state to unleash a flurry of slashes that completely hit his target.
The raccoon grunted pain at that moment, although more than pain, what it was feeling was total shame for having fallen for Blake's trick, maybe it would have escaped if it was any other occasion, but there was something deep inside of it preventing it from doing it.
Blake was not long in approaching to take his shield again, that last move had turned out the way he wanted, but despite that, there was a new thought that did not leave his head.
'I already knew, but this won't be easy...' That idea was not without foundation, it was obvious that the raccoon was strong enough to make Blake think carefully about how to face it, and seeing the deep marks that had been left on his shield, he knew that he had to be more careful than he had originally thought.
"Fwoosh!" And that sound was the one that meant that the annoying part was going to start. Surrounded by a green aura and with torrents of wind forming around it, the raccoon had begun its favorite wind-blade demonstration with Blake as a spectator. He did not take a second to realize this and launched another of his plans.
"Light Shield!" With the blades of wind a short distance from him, Blake had summoned two huge spheres of light about two meters in diameter opposing the path of the blades so that at that moment both spells negated each other disappearing without a trace.
This made Blake breathe another sigh of relief as he internally thanked Marjorie for giving him that spell as the raccoon gave one of her typical annoyed growls again. Blake kept an eye on the peculiar blue bar that showed how much runic energy he could still use and reminded himself that this was not the time to use the heavy artillery.
The confrontation did not stop there, seeing what had happened, the raccoon had not stayed still and launched itself against Blake again, a new exchange of movements was seen between the two and despite his attempts to protect himself, Blake could not help but finish with some cuts on various parts of his body, but the same situation applied to the angry raccoon.
From the raccoon's point of view, it still remembered its first confrontation with Blake, it had come to the town without knowing why, but it had quickly gotten used to life in the woods and "getting" interesting things from the town, that night it had come from one of its common night walks when it chose to visit the huge tree that was in the town, and it was at that moment that the raccoon saw him.
It didn't know why, but a rage and murderous intent seemed to be consuming it once it caught a glimpse of the blonde's figure, it didn't know why that was happening to it, but its instincts took control of it and it wasted no time when it launched itself to tear apart the person responsible for all that.
That battle did not seem to be an effort for it at that moment, the raccoon knew that the blonde would not have the slightest chance, but it still did not understand how he managed to disappear when everything seemed to be over and, if it was not because a ball of fire hit its precious treasure, it would not have run away like a coward.
The second time it met the blond it thought about taking revenge again, but after all the disaster caused by the lunatic girl with light blue hair that almost buried it next to the rubble of the ruins, it had to forget about its revenge and worry about that its belongings remain in perfect condition and move them to a safer place.
Again, it was in a similar situation, it had found a new base away from all the problems and other territorial monsters, so it thought that it could finally rest, but when it heard footsteps approaching and the familiar blonde hair appeared in its line of sight, it really couldn't control that annoyance that was still inside it.
But despite that, the situation was not what it thought, the blonde in front of it seemed totally different from the first time, both his movements, techniques, and tricks were incredibly annoying and the injuries it was receiving made the little calm that remained in it vanished completely.
"Graaaghhh!!" A new scream had come out of it, but unlike any other, this one was wrapped in a unique ability of its species, just by hearing it, Blake froze in the same place making his defenses completely disappear, this was fully taken advantage of by the raccoon and a mischievous smile appeared on its face as it made a huge jump and its sharp claws aimed at Blake's vital points.
The result seemed inevitable, the claws were only inches away from connecting with its target and the raccoon knew that nothing would be enough for him to avoid it... But its thoughts were quickly destroyed in a single second.
