At one point, Blake was surrounded by many monsters that were already known to him, it was impossible for him to escape from that situation, he wondered where so many monsters had come from, but once he saw the sphere that was behind him and the sensation the monsters were transmitting at that moment, something formed in his head.
'Are they… Are they protecting this sphere?' But without more time to think, the monsters had already pounced on him without caring for their own safety. Everything would have ended for Blake at that moment if it hadn't been for the fact that the sword plant he had for a partner had been faster and made a horizontal cut thus moving all those creatures away enough so that they could both better analyze the situation. "Hehe, I owe you a waterpot full of water for you alone... Now, we have to show them who is in charge here."
Already prepared and with his faithful partner by his side, Blake did not feel the danger he experienced when he faced all those monsters previously, and together they did not take long to finish that confrontation, although they took a few blows in the exchange that were enough to tire them.
"Good thing they aren't too strong, although we still can't ignore their blows, are you okay?" Even though the sword-shaped plant didn't say anything, Blake didn't care, he felt that just seeing it float was enough answer for him. 'Some skills also increased in level, little by little I feel that I am getting stronger.'
And it would all have ended well at that point if it weren't for Blake's luck is really bad.
"Gahh!" Suddenly he felt something crash into him and watched as his health bar plummeted until he was just a breath away from it. He did not know when, but a new group of monsters had appeared again in front of him, Blake did not understand where they had come from, but when he saw how a new light came out of the strange white sphere, he knew that he was in serious trouble.
Without delay, the sword plant had shot out to help him and together they began to defeat one monster after another... But it was useless, every time they got rid of one a new one appeared preventing them from catching their breath. Seeing this, Blake wanted to punch himself for not having thought about it before and could only yell at the sword in hopes that it would understand.
"I have to destroy that sphere or we won't be able to get out of here! Keep them busy as best you can, please!" And making some kind of assent, the sword was placed in the middle of the monsters and Blake, implying that they would have to step over it before touching its partner.
Blake, although he felt deep gratitude towards the sword, could not waste time and make his effort wasted, he came out the best he could from the range of the monsters and arrived in front of the sphere that seemed to struggle not to stop summon monsters at the same time that Blake was immersed in adrenaline and did not realize how tired he was at the time.
He took his sword and, without stopping, began to cut the only solid part of the sphere. Unlike the monsters that he could deal a good amount of damage to them, the amount that he could see coming out of the particular sphere was less than half, plus, despite not having a direct way to attack, it seemed that its health was almost endless.
But after not stopping his cuts for a second, Blake smiled when he heard how the solid ball inside the sphere made the typical sound of something breaking and a second later the runes began to spread and disappear along with the figure of the same sphere. Seeing that he had fulfilled his mission, he turned quickly to help his companion who had resisted all that time... But when he saw what was happening, he could not bear it.
"No... No!" The peculiar sword had resisted all that time, but that had also made it end that way, you could see with the naked eye how parts of its body had been torn off and how it did everything possible to continue fighting despite all the monsters that they were attacking it at the same time and the possible pain it was suffering.
Blake, not caring for his own safety, ran as fast as he could to help it, but it was too late... A simple thrust from a Pomme Pomme was enough for the emaciated sword to give the last of itself and the next moment... It figure disappeared completely as if it had never existed in the first place... Blake can only reach it the moment it was disappearing and he couldn't even hold it to say goodbye.
That sword hadn't even been with him long enough, but he felt like he had just lost someone very important. Despite the pain he felt, he couldn't leave things like that, he just grabbed the saber in his hand and wanted those monsters in front of him to pay for what they had just done... He threw himself in the middle of everyone and gave a cry choking to express what he felt at that moment.
And after that... He didn't remember anything else...
