Chapter 7 - Princess of Shin

Shin Yeon was forced to bear a new burden and at the same time accept the punishment for his behavior yesterday. Even though his parents were quite understanding and didn't say much, his father's cold and silent attitude embarrassed Yeon.

At first, he thought would get Eunji out of hiding little by little. But in fact, the pregnant woman with an above-average emotional level rebelled and destroyed Yeon's marriage. And for the second time the destruction occurred, when his sister had to bear the risk of this mess.

"Mom ...." he whispered in his mother's ear. This overly kind lady with a voice as soft as silk brought Eunji and took care of her at home. Even though the girl had messed up and done some stupid things on her son's wedding day.

"Hera is fine.." His mother answered slowly. Even though she wasn't sure about it. She doesn't know what kind of idea crossed my head yesterday. It was her son who made a mistake and hier daughter who became a pawn to make up for it.

Relations with the Cho family were strained just like that. Without any communication. But her daughter was in their hands instead. As if being a prisoner for Yeon's annoying behavior.

"That's the reason I don't want to marry Ahra this year, I'm waiting for something. It would be better if everything was postponed for a while right, Mom?"

"Already. Maybe our soul mate with the Cho family is in your sister's hands. I know you're hurt, but you have to take responsibility for what's yours, right? What doesn't belong to you, let it be a later affair."

"Yes .... I'm sure Hera understands why she's there now, taking my place."

"Stupid. Hera did not take your place, instead, she was punished for your behavior. Whatever Mr. Cho wants, we must comply, because the fault is on our side. And as much as we can protect your sister to stay safe."

"I know what the Cho family is not bad. They may be angry, but Hera is in good hands."

The Shin family is known for their easy-going demeanor. Even specifically Mr. Shin Jaejoon–Hera's father, the man seemed to have no problem and didn't think about anything when he left his house. Even though gossip and innuendo are scattered out there regarding his son's misaddressed marriage, he remains strong and responds to it as if it's not a problem at all. So that people who talk about it are tired of being alone with the attitude of the Shin family like this.

Much different from the Cho family. They immediately guarded the house with several security officers and closed themselves off. The Cho family is known to be sensitive with a wise but easily offended family head. Several times the Cho family silenced the media about the fact that the bride-to-be was wrong. Until finally they are tired and choose silence.

Until now it is not clear how the relationship between the two families was after the incident. The ones in the most uncomfortable position were Hyun and Hera. They were forced to be together and somehow until now have not separated after the impromptu marriage. Though, no one is forcing them to stay together, at least not yet. Because the two heads of families still need time to think to solve this problem.

"I hope Hera and Hyun are not separated because of our deteriorating relationship. I would feel so stupid for letting my daughter fall twice. Married and mortgaged, then divorced and dumped. I wish she would do that…" More like muttering to himself, Master Shin spoke with dreamy eyes and more or less wished it would come true.

They—the Shin family, might have seemed fine with all the realistic and logical thinking when this matter arose yesterday—but still, they were ordinary people who were secretly thinking about this. Imagining the fate of their daughter who seemed to be on guard at the boundary of war. Become a victim. Truly, Mr. Shin feels very guilty and he understands how angry Mr. Cho is at him. But he never wanted the war to happen, he wanted to make amends even though he didn't know in what way. As a result, he just kept quiet and waited after his daughter was forced to marry the crown prince of the Cho family.

He has not dared to take any action even though he knows his daughter must be in the wrong position. He let Mr. Cho take control of the fate of his daughter and their son's guise of marriage. Even though deep down he wanted Hera to marry once in a lifetime and be happy. But, isn't this impossible? Her submissive and unpretentious daughter would probably often eat liver during her stay with Mr. Cho's son.

"Dad ...." The round eyes stared full into his big eyeballs on this chaotic wedding day. As if begging and asking for understanding.

"You know because you're special. Do you often say that? You're my family's daughter. During the last seven generations, you were the first daughter born to the Shin family. That's why you're special."

"I know ...." She answered slowly.

"You know what that means, don't you?"

"Because it's hard that's what makes it special, and not everyone can do it."

"So?" asked Mr. Shin again.

"This is my job, right? A princess from Shin's kingdom must fulfill her duty…"

"Smart."

Short conversation. No one even heard that, because Mr. Shin and Hera were talking as they walked hand in hand towards the altar. Even though she had thought to finish everything in front of the altar later, with a lot of jokes like on television, Hera failed when she saw her father's pleading face.

All right, it's not that hard. A child sacrifices for her family, isn't that special? Even if it means that she has pawned her whole life in the hands of someone else with her fate swaying as it is now. And waiting for a hammer knock from both sides of the family for the future of her own marriage. Will the guise of marriage end here?
