I went upstairs and took a shower then checked the time and it was 7:15pm.
I quickly went to my wardrobe and brought out a white crop top and a jean bum short with jean jacket and boots.
I went to my dresser and applied a light make up after which I stretched my hair and packed it up in a ponytail.
My phone rang and it happened to be Sam.
Thank God! I haven't spoken to him in a while.
" Hey, "I said as I received the call.
"Hi, today is the party right?"he asked.
"yeah,"I replied as a took my purse from the bed.
"Infact, I'm almost done with dressing up for the party."I said.
"Okay, don't forget to be careful and don't drink more than two cups of alcohol if you are given any.
you know you are not strong with alcohol."He said.
"Yeah,I will do just that."I replied as I headed for the door.
"Okay, good luck and don't hesitate to call me if something happens." he said.
"Yes mum."I replied as I heard him chuckle from the other side of the phone.
" Sam I'm really grateful you called though." I told him.
"Why? you are my best friend and I will always be there for you."he said.
"ditto."I replied.
"So, how are you holding up?"I asked him refering to Steph.
"I'm over it."he replied.
"Okay, take good care of yourself and I love you."I said as I went downstairs.
"You too."he replied before he ended the call.
After Sam ended the call,my phone rang and it was Hunter.
"Hey."I said.
"Hi Veronica I'm outside your house."he said.
"Okay,I will be there in a minute."I replied as I got to the living room.
"Liam,I will be out for some hours, I have a party to go to."I said.
"Okay, but don't be late and be careful.
keep your phone on incase I need to call you for something."he said.
"Bye then ."I replied wondering why he didn't give me any prep talk today as I went outside.
When I got outside,I saw Hunter resting by his car and he didn't notice me because he was on his phone.
I took in his outfit which was a black jean trousers with denim jacket and white and black sneakers.
I didn't miss the white T-shirt that he wore inside which didn't fail to show his hard upper body.
Oh my,he is so hot! I was screaming inside.
As I got to where he was ,he noticed me because he raised his head and I had to stop myself from putting my hands in his chocolate brown hair which looked soft and smooth.
what's wrong with me?
He smilled as he saw me and I didn't miss the glint from his green eyes and the curve of his pink lips as he smiled.
He raked my body from my feet to my head then he looked straight into my eyes.
"you are really sexy."he said with a grin.
I started feeling very hot as I tucked my bottom lip into my mouth.
"your eyes are really pretty too."he said again.
If only this guy knows what his words and stares are doing to me,he will stop before I do something stupid that I will surely regret.
I actually have Cobalt blue eyes and very long lashes which people mistake as artificial most times and I'm very sure the little Smokey eyes I did while making up made my eyes darker.
"your eyes are very green"I replied in return which made me uncomfortable.
"Okay then, shall we?"he asked.
"Sure"I replied.
"at your service my lady"he said as he opened the passenger door of the car.
"please stop it."I said as my blush grew.
He laughed as if he sensed my discomfort.
When I got into the car,he closed the door and went over to the driver's side of the car.
He put on the radio as he got inside and DUSK TILL DAWN by SIA and ZYAN MALIK was playing.
"You like Sia hun?"I asked him as he started driving.
"Not really,I thought you will like it but I can change it if you don't"he replied.
"No its fine I like it.
besides Sia is one of my favorite musicians."I said.
"Really?"he asked as he continued driving.
"of course, she is really talented.
so what about you?"I asked him
"what about me?" he asked.
"who is your favorite musician?"I asked.
"well I can't really say because I don't actually have a favorite.
I listen to anything pleasant to my ear but I kind of like One direction and Westlife."
He replied.
"Oh, that's cool."I said with a smile as he focused on the road.
After sometime we got to the party and the music was so loud.
This is going to be really hot.
Hunter packed his car in one corner because many cars were already there.
After that we got out and I didn't miss the breeze outside because it made me shiver.
"cold?"he asked.
"kind of"I replied although I wanted to say obviously.
"Are you nervous?"he asked again.
"A little, don't get me wrong because I have gone to night parties before but this just seem different" I replied with a smile.
"Don't worry you will be fine,
let's get you something to drink."he said as we got inside.
"What's up bro?" someone said as we got to the door.
"hey man,"Hunter said to the guy I suspect was the bouncer.
They both huged in a boyish way and Hunter introduced him as Josh to me.
"What a hot girl you have got here.
what's your name pretty?"he asked me.
"Veronica,nice to meet you."I said as I offered him my hand for a handshake but he took it and pecked the back of my hand.
I smiled as he released my hand.
"Josh and it's really nice to meet you too. I hope I will be seeing more of you from time to time."he said with a cute grin.
"we will go in now."Hunter said.
As we got inside,many people were there and I didn't expect that type of full house.
some people were smoking , playing spin the bottle(truth or dare) while some were making out, dancing or just talking and drinking.
"I will be back, let me get you something to drink."Hunter said then he left.
"Hey babe,"a guy with blonde hair said as he came close to me.
I looked up to see a guy who looks really drunk and I decided to ignore him.
He didn't seem to get the hint that I don't want to talk to him because he drew closer to me but before he could do anything, someone pushed him away from me.
It's not like I can't defend myself but the person was faster.
I looked up and I was shocked because I didn't expect the person to be Bryan Klein A.K.A Hunters cousin and the hottest guy in Addison High.
"Hi,"he told me as he took my hand.
"hi,"I replied feeling strangely shy.
"Thanks."I told him.
"It was nothing,besides I don't enjoy seeing a beauty like you in discomfort."he said with a smirk.
"such a charmer."I said with a blush before we both started laughing.
"You find me charming?" he asked and I couldn't stop the blush on my face.
"Oh yeah, besides, who won't find you charming?"I asked as I met his eyes and I think for a moment I got lost in his Sea blue eyes.
As I took in his sharp jawline which was screaming for me to touch it and his soft blonde hair which was pushed up above his head, I couldn't stop but wonder how a guy could look this good.
These cousins and their charm.
I heard someone cough beside me as I escaped from the trance and I was grateful for Hunters arrival.
"I brought you a drink."he told me as he handed me the red plastic cup.
"Thanks"I said as I took it.
It happened to be coke and I was relieved it wasn't alcohol because alcohol don't really go well with me.
He was with another cup but I don't know what he is drinking.
"Hey, Bro I didn't know I was going to meet you here."Hunter said as they both huged.
"I guess I will leave the both of you to talk then."Bryan said.
"It was really nice meeting you."he said to me with a cool smile but why do I feel like he was aware I am going to be here today.
"you too."I replied.
"Later then, Veronica."he said as he smirked.
I think my head is spinning right now.
"Alright."I replied after swallowing.
