CHRIS' POV
Usually, the school will leave us a week of freedom especially for the boarders. We would be able to go home after school if want for just a week. To me it's ok on one side but on the other not. I'll miss my mom and Ninah's pancakes when the week will come to an end. I survived every other year so this year won't be an exception.

"Chris would you mind coming down for prayers please?" Jessica is heard calling from downstairs.
"Coming Mom... I'm putting on my shoes" Chris responded and hastily made his way downstairs.
They all gather on table and pray mostly for guidance and protection on Chris' part as he begins the new school year.
When all was done Jessica hugged her son very hard as he went to school. She let a tear loose as she watched him retreating with a huge carry-on luggage and his back pack.

AT SCHOOL
An hour after students were permitted to install themselves, an assembly was called for all the students in the school's outdoor common area. There, presentation of all the school's staff and the administration was done. Equally names of the beneficiaries of the school's scholarship program were announced.
"...and finally only one student in final year that is Miss Doña Angela Bright. Now a round of applause for all those who made it this year and welcome to all. Thank you" and with that, the school's principal finished his speech.
"That's it? Only one student in final year? Oh man...this year is not going to be as fun as I thought.
" Relax man... it's a girl...so man it's not that bad to see someone new..." A few students chattered enthusiastically.
" Chris! over here! " James called on his best friend Chris. " You're always late on the first day uhh? I can't get used to that. What was it this time? A monster attacked you on your way here?"
"Haha funny" Chris grumbled.
Then not so long later, Samantha and Jones arrived.
" So...who are those going to be neighbors once more?" Samantha asked while smiling.
"US OF COURSE" They all chorused and ended in a fit of laughter.
For a split second James and Samantha locked eyes which made Jones chuckle.
"You guys really need to explain what's going on. I mean seriously" he said which earned him a nudge from Chris.
" Let's collect our curriculum from the dean, so we get to see which classes we have in common." Chris proposed to the others which they agreed upon.
They started off for the dean's office when suddenly they bumped into a long queue of students. "Well...many people had the same idea it seems..." Samantha blurted out. "Would you mind checking out our secret spot? that in the hill near the cafeteria Sam?" James tried to pacify Samantha. "Yeah why not." Then they slowly headed to where they were up to.
"Excuse me please?..." Chris hears a small timid voice as someone tuggs his sleeve.
As soon as he turns over, a petite mid hight and very beautiful girl looks up to him. Chris is very tall due to all his sporting activities and maybe the good genes too. The girl reaches his chest so Chris literally looked down on her(😂).
" Please is this the dean's office?" The girl quietly asked while looking down for Chris not to see her flushed cheeks.
DOÑA'S POV
I've never been this embarrassed in my life. I was quite confident upon reaching this school but after the unusual welcome I had yesterday, I literally fell back into my shell. All this is Dad's fault. I had told him I didn't want unnecessary attention but he didn't even conceal his identity.
Now I can't even properly ask for directions...what a bad start.
