Agnes had always been a shy person, but her little sister Illyanna had a way of making her feel comfortable. The two sisters stood in the bathroom, preparing to take a bath together. Illyanna was already hopping excitedly on one foot, while Agnes stood with her arms wrapped around herself.
"Come on, Agnes, hurry up!" Illyanna said, tugging at Agnes' sleeve. "I want to wash my hair and back!"
Agnes nodded, her cheeks flushing with color. She quickly undressed and stepped into the tub. Illyanna followed suit, splashing water everywhere as she did so.
Agnes reached for the soap, but before she could, Illyanna interrupted her.
"Let me do it, Agnes! I want to wash your hair!"
Agnes hesitated, but eventually gave in. Illyanna lathered the soap in her hands and began to gently wash Agnes' hair. It felt nice, having her little sister's hands massaging her scalp.
"You have such pretty hair, Agnes," Illyanna said, grinning up at her. "I wish mine was like yours."
Agnes smiled, feeling a bit more at ease. "Thanks, Illyanna. Your hair is pretty too, though. It's long and shiny."
Illyanna beamed, pleased with the compliment. She rinsed out Agnes' hair and moved on to her back. Agnes leaned forward so that her sister could reach every spot.
When Illyanna finished, she handed the soap to Agnes. "Your turn now, Agnes! I want to wash your hair too!"
Agnes hesitated, but eventually agreed. She turned around, letting Illyanna wet and soap up her hair. As Illyanna washed her hair, Agnes couldn't help but feel a sense of calmness. It was nice to have someone take care of her for once, instead of always being the one to take care of others.
When Illyanna finished, the sisters rinsed off and got out of the tub. Agnes wrapped a towel around herself, feeling grateful for the bonding experience with her sister.
"That was fun, Illyanna," Agnes said, smiling at her sister.
"I know, right?" Illyanna said, grinning. "We should do it again sometime!"
Agnes nodded, feeling happy. Maybe being shy wasn't so bad after all, as long as she had her little sister to help her out.
