Lewis head a ring in his head and a golden screen appeared in front of him,
Name: Lewis Ackerley
Innate Talent: Myriad Fusion
Level: 1
Energy: 100/100 units

...
A stream of information entered Lewi's mind and he understood what happened to him,
This golden screen in front of him was the Innate Talent he awakened,
He had heard about Innate Talents, at the age of 18 there is a 1 in 10 million possibility that one would awaken an Innate Talent, meaning with the world population reduced to 5 billion and only around 1 billion being youths of age 18, every year there are only 100 youths who are able to awaken an Innate talent in the entire world,
To think that he would awaken an Innate Talent, Lewis would be lying if he said he wasn't excited,
The main reason was that those who awaken an Innate Talent can directly enter any Institute they want excluding The Ace.
This meant that Lewis was guaranteed to enter the Top Colleges irrespective of his score in CHEE, but Lewis thought that it would be a waste to not attend Ace when he had awakened an Innate Talent, he had a chance to get in.
Ace only took in 200 students every year, most of the students with Innate Talents would be able to get into Ace and the remaining were exceptional students who were not any weaker than students with Innate Talents.
There were many cases where ones with Innate Talents failed to get into Ace, so Lewis wasn't arrogant enough to believe that he would surely get into Ace.
Lewis shook away his thoughts about Ace and focused on his Innate Skill, according to the Information stuffed into his brain, his Innate Talent: Myriad Fusion could basically fuse anything in the world, although it sounded powerful, the process also required Energy which limited its use.
Curious about his Talent, he decided to fuse something since he had full energy.
He rubbed the intricate ring on his finger and a couple of items appeared in his hand,
This was another product of Maui Technology, it was called a Storage ring.
The items he took out were basic Beast Card cultivation resources, Ice Crystal, and a Firestone.
Both of them were abundant in their house so he did not mind experimenting with them.
He placed both of them in the allocated spot in the golden screen and they magically disappeared,
Ding!
Detected Fusion material...
[Ice Crystal] + [Firestone] = [?]
Compatability is low...
Success rate: 10%
Energy Required: 1
Would you like to proceed with fusion?..
"Hmm..."
Although he had expected this he was a bit disappointed, the Ice Crystal and Firestone were resources used to increase the proficiency of Ice and Fire element Beast Cards. He had hoped to create a treasure by fusing both of them but it seemed like it was not too realistic,
But, since he had decided to experiment and the cost was only 1 Energy unit he agreed to the fusion even though the success rate was only 10%.
Ding!
Fusion is under process...
Both the Ice Crystal and Firestone on-screen melted and started mixing with each other,
Energy: 99/100
Suddenly, Golden energy enveloped the two liquids and they started mixing together the liquid changed to a pink color and started condensing into some kind of crystal,
Lewis was fascinated by the scene, he watched in amazement as the pink liquid slowly started condensing into a crystal, just when the process was about to be completed, the semi-formed crystal started vibrating and looked like it was going to explode,
Lewis sighed, thinking that it was going to fail,
But, it seemed like he guessed wrongly he heard a prompt in his mind signaling the success of the fusion,
Ding!
Fusion Success!
Lewis grinned and looked at the golden screen again,
Name: Lewis Ackerley
Innate Talent: Myriad Fusion
Level: 1
Energy: 99/100 units
[Ice Crystal] + [Firestone] = [Icefire Jade]
...
"Icefire Jade!?"
The Icefire Jade looked like a pink crystal size the size of a finger, a white and red liquid squirmed inside the crystal giving it a mystical feel.
Lewis practically shouted out the name
It couldn't be helped, Icefire Jade was a genuine treasure, it was something countless youths yearned for but could only dream about it. This included Lewis, who was richer than millions of people. He had only heard about Icefire Jade from his parents, it was a precious cultivation resource that could help speed up one's proficiency...
To compare, Ice Crystals and Firestone could only be used up to D-rank. For Card Hunters above D-rank, it was basically useless. This was the reason their house was filled with ice crystals, and Firestone, his parents basically did not need these resources anymore.
But an Icefire Jade was a different matter altogether, it was a cultivation resource used by C-rank and above Card Hunters. Even his parents might not have enough supply of Icefire Jade for their cultivation.
Lewis took a long time to calm down, after some thinking, he decided to tell his parents about his ability, they were already Peak B-rank Card Hunters, and with a constant supply of Icefire Jade they might even be able to breakthrough to A-rank Card Hunters, that would mean their Bearmount City would be promoted to a Tier-2 City and his mother's Hellfire Punished Guild becoming an A-rank Guild solidifying their position in the Earth Federation.
The more he thought about it the more he felt that his decision was correct,
He quickly called his servants and had them inform him when his parents arrived,
Every minute felt like an hour for Lewis but thankfully, he only had to wait half an hour for his parents.
His parents had smiles on their faces and seemed to be in a good mood,
Lewis saw his parent's and shouted from upstairs,
"Mom, Dad quickly come to my room!"
Whiteford and Hellena looked at each other in confusion but headed upstairs nonetheless. They had never seen Lewis so anxious so they were worried that something happened to him.
They quickly entered his room and saw him pacing around with an excited expression.
Lewis saw his parents and quickly locked the door he then made sure all the curtains were closed and asked his parents,
"Mom, Dad can you guys check if there is anyone spying on us?"
His parents were surprised, but they looked at each other and nodded their heads, and released their powers,
