He woke up, the bags under his eyes shining in a way as he got off his bed, wandering off to the bathroom and looking at himself in the mirror, his dark brown hair looking black under the darkness as he grabbed his toothbrush, going through his routine as he gets ready for school "Hey mom, update me on Halloween!" He yelled out
"YOU HAVE A PHONE HONEY-" She replied as he ran out the door and to his bus, getting on and setting his backpack down under his seat, his body slumping onto the bus seat as he slowly went to sleep.
"Hey! We got a noob!" A boy called out as he ran over to thr boy, kneeling next to him.
"Huh?" He questioned who these people were…this did not look like his bus, so where was he? Before anyone could answer his question, he felt as if his own soul was put back in his body as his eyes drifted open, he found himself in class, as if his body had been on autopilot while he was asleep, his body jolted backwards into his chair with great force, however it wasn't noticed as the teacher didn't seem to be inside the room to lecture him for moving around. He then sighed, looking at his paper, knowing exactly what to do, the equation was simple, take away from anything besides x, what you do to one side, you do to the other to find x. Which means X+7=28 equates to x=21. It was so much easier than it seemed to the other kids though, as they finished 30 minutes after he had, he turned his homework in and walked back to his seat, looking at the date on the whiteboard.

The year was slowly approaching the beginning of 2019 and conversations were turning into debates over who could do this, was the dab still popular, is Trump a bad president? A LOT of controversy, it irked at his soul. Why couldn't people just get along like civilized people? It was as if people were releasing their anger through social media instead of the people they were angry at and it made matters in the world even worse as it was already bad enough, it confused him, even more so then his first day in 7th grade, which wasn't a very welcome experience in his new school. So as Jake started to daydream, he heard those familiar voices again, those voices that he heard on the bus.
"Is he awake again?" A voice said from nearby, no further than 2 feet away from him.
