Chapter 39 - WHAT DID YOU SEE, HUH?

"Stupid Ryan!" Malika said Ryan's stupidity was always accepting when played by Rendra.

Even though Rendra is Malika's cousin, the woman will not be willing if anyone oppresses her lover other than herself. Only he can play with his lover, no one else can.

"Why are you calling me stupid, Honey?" Ryan glanced at Malika with a furrowed brow, then turned his attention back to driving the car. They must arrive earlier than Rendra and Aleeta according to their superior's orders.

"You just want to be bullied by Rendra." Malika scowled as she folded her arms in front of her chest.

"Honey, I'm still Rendra's assistant. I work for him, so it's only natural that I follow his orders," Ryan concluded, explaining his position in the wrong position. If he doesn't follow orders, his salary will be cut off, but if he does, his girlfriend will get angry.

"Honey, you just wait in the car, okay. If you come down, I'm afraid you'll be tired," Ryan said as he gently stroked Malika's head asking the woman for understanding.

"Okay. But don't take too long. You know I don't like waiting, right?" Malika replied in a warning tone.

"Yes, honey. I promise when my work is done, I will come straight to you." Ryan put his thumb and forefinger together to form a love like the poses of Korean idols while displaying the sweetest smile he has. He then got off and headed to the back of the car to open the trunk door and unload Aleeta's groceries.

Ryan immediately rushed over, he didn't want to cross paths with Aleeta and Rendra.

"Good evening, can I help you?" asked the female receptionist in a friendly manner. His hands clasped together in front of his chest and gave a friendly smile as well.

"Good evening, Ma'am. I want to leave something for Mrs. Aleeta," Ryan replied with a smile as he handed over the bag containing Aleeta's groceries.

"Okay, may I know what name you are in?" The woman asked again.

"Just say it's from Ryan."

"Okay, Mr. Ryan. Does Mr. Ryan want to leave a message or have you made an appointment with Mrs. Aleeta?"

"No. That's all. Thank you." Ryan immediately left the reception desk after thanking the woman.

Ryan breathed another sigh of relief when everything went according to plan and was not far from his car. The man then got back into the car and leaned his back for a moment.

"You must be tired." Malika looked sorry to see her lover's tired face.

Ryan smiled sweetly at Malika. "Yes. But because of you, my tiredness is all gone now."

Ryan played his eyes to tease Malika.

"You are-"

Before Malika could continue her sentence, Ryan's cell phone rang and the man immediately answered the call, as soon as he knew who was calling.

"Yes, Boss. I have left it at the reception. Malika and I were just about to leave." Ryan looked serious listening to Rendra's words. " What?" Ryan added with a look that looked very surprised.

Ryan just wanted to refute Rendra's words, but his boss had already hung up.

"Ah... Shit!" Ryan ruffled his hair in frustration.

"Why, dear?" Of course, Malika was curious about Ryan's reaction after answering his phone call.

"Rendra asked me to shop for things in the apartment that was already out of stock. Oh, my God. If I had the courage, I want to curse that damned boss." Ryan dropped his head on the steering wheel in annoyance

"I'm with you, yes, Honey?" Malika gently stroked Ryan's back.

"You must be tired, Honey. I'd better take you home. Then go shopping by yourself. I don't want you to get tired and get sick later." Riyan raised his head to look at his lover.

"You don't want to go with me?" Malika now turned her face away, staring at random out of the car window.

"I—it's not like that, Honey. I'm afraid you're tired. When you come home, you can rest at home." Ryan tried to persuade Malika.

"How can I rest while my lover is in trouble because of my cousin's actions." Malika looked back at Ryan expectantly. "Yes, yes. I accompany you. You said your tiredness will disappear if you are with me." Malika also issued a deadly seduction technique so that Ryan would be accompanied by her.

If that's the case, Ryan will no longer be able to refuse. He finally took Malika to the nearest supermarket to shop for Rendra's needs.

Meanwhile Rendra had just arrived at the Grand Hilton hotel. He immediately got down the car and opened the door for Aleeta.

"I can walk alone, Ryan," said Aleeta, raising her hand in front of Ryan when she reached out to carry him bridal style.

"But I don't mind Aleeta. I do it with pleasure," concluded Rendra with a face showing disappointment.

Ah, Aleeta didn't want to experience the same thing at the supermarket and hospital earlier. He really doesn't like being the center of attention.

"I will walk alone. If you are still going to carry me, I will be angry." Aleeta insists on walking alone. After all, Rendra had given him flip-flops earlier. So, he can walk comfortably.

"But-"

"No, Ryan," Aleeta argued for the umpteenth time.

Ah, Rendra can't understand why Aleeta really rejects the idea of carrying her to the room. After all, they had done it before. Doing it one more time wouldn't change anything, would it?

"Okay." Rendra resigned because he did not want the woman to be angry with him.

"You don't have to carry it either." Aleeta gently brushed off Rendra's hand who was ready to support him.

Ah, Rendra is very upset now. He did all this not because he liked it, but because he was afraid that Aleeta's leg would hurt even more.

Unable to understand, Rendra grabbed Aleeta's hand and intertwined their fingers.

"At least let me hold your hand like this, Aleeta," said Rendra with a pitiful face. Like the man did not give up to continue to make physical contact with Aleeta.

Aleeta sighed in frustration. He had tried to resist Rendra's touch, but the man kept urging him.

"Okay, but only up to the room, huh?" Aleeta resigned herself to the man's request.

After arriving in front of the reception desk, a butler approached them with a bag in his hand.

"Sorry, Mrs. Aleeta. This is a deposit from Mr. Ryan," said the man, bowing as a sign of respect to Aleeta.

"A deposit from Ryan?" asked Aleeta to make sure she heard right.

"That's right, Miss Aleeta." Aleeta dipped an eyebrow at Ryan with a surprised face.

"Ah, those are the groceries from the supermarket earlier. I asked my friend to help me bring them," said Rendra, explaining.

"Okay. You take it to my room, yes," said Aleeta to the male servant.

"Okay ma'am."

Now they walked hand in hand to Aleeta's room. The male servant noticed the woman's path which seemed a little limp.

"What did you see, huh?" Rendra growled, gripping the waiter's collar.
