Chereads / The Purgation of Emotions in Tenses / Chapter 48 - Ignorance is bliss

Chapter 48 - Ignorance is bliss

When thou wish for death;

The dead can not wish to live.

Death is man's birthright.

That the wise fail to ignore;

Ignorance is bliss.

If thou wish to live a life,

To dwell where every truth is honest,

Where man and gods exchange glances.

Unrealistic that half the man wishes to ignore.

Ignorance is bliss.

In the time of trouble,

Who do you call?

In the time of plenty,

Who do you love?

Or do you wish to ignore?

Ignorance is bliss.
