(I know I wasn't able to do justice to the other side characters in this book, especially Alex and his friends, therefore, I am trying to balance those missing moments in the book with these one-shots)
P.s I have changed Alex's best friend's name from Ben to Jack. So, from here onwards he will be addressed as such. I hope it won't create much confusion.

I don't understand what I, not an employee in this firm, no relation with it or its existing employees, am going to do at their Christmas party? But here I was decked in a black plain dress, with lace trimmings at the hem and straps, the fancy kind, and although I wasn't in the mood to attend I still like the way the dress accentuate my carves all the while making sure that I don't look too flabby.
