"I will have the juice with some ice,"
"You sure? Milk sounds better right now," without moving an inch, he stood near the kitchen stool I was sitting on holding the pitcher of milk in one hand, not budging an inch.
"Yes I am sure," I don't know about others but I can't stomach plain milk just like that. I don't like the taste of it and it usually got me irked how people so easily could drink it.
"I always give Emily some milk when she's upset," he shrugged pursed his lips, and moved back to put the milk back in the fridge and took out the juice. I couldn't help but smile when he turned his back. It's things like these that make me appreciate him even more.
I quickly schooled my features back to normal, narrowing my eyes at him. I got to know a lot of stuff today that had me on the edge and no matter how much I love him I am not going to let it slide he needs to learn that he shouldn't mingle in my life unnecessarily, have some trust in me.
