"Because she can," I along with everybody else was watching these two, Alex and Matt, argue over why I was wearing an oversized jacket to breakfast when it was perfectly hot outside. I was partially grateful for the distraction, no one was paying me any attention, and was rather focused on these two bickering children.
I picked up the napkin from the table and quietly tried to rub the sweat from my forehead. I am not going to lie I was dying inside it but what option do I have? I was in no way going to parade the million or so hickeys Alex left on my neck in front of my family and friends.
