"I see you are very fond of bread?" Eugene, Kara's new boss, well not exactly new as it has been almost 4 months of her working for him, came up behind her during her lunch hours when she was in the little staff kitchen, heating up her lunch.
"No, not fond," anyone seeing her smile like this would think that she was trying to cover up her obsession with bread but the truth was she never not intentionally anyways started eating too many carbs, she just craved bread so much one day and then there was no going back from there.
She was so used to trying different kinds of bread daily at Alex's house that it kind of just stuck even when she left. He would bring in different flavors and would pair them up with either meat, fruits, or just plain butter and would leave a portion for it for her, suggesting she should try it.
