CHAPTER 33
The second she left the office she wasted no time in doing other things and immediately exited the company.
Once she got in her car, she asked the driver ti take her straight to work.
The second she closed the door and the driver kick started the car, that was the same time Alexander was coming to work but due to the tainted glasses of the car he did not see her neither did she has she had her mind settled in other things and they drive away but as the car moved, she felt a slight pain in her chest.
She did not know why it happened all of a sudden and grabbed the water can seated close to her and gulped down its liquid.
Even after that, it remained. It has like an after math of an electric shock which still left the feel about ones body making it look like the current was still moving around in your body.
Quickly, she turned to look back but all she saw was the leg of someone entering the company and she turned back around.
"Young miss. Is everything alright?" Her driver questioned, watching her through the mirror.
"Ues. " she rubbed at her chest with her free hand, hoping to soothe the pain she felt.
"It is nothing. Keep driving."
"Yes ma."
As he drove, they joined in on the tain of traffic so he managed to swerve through a different lane and road in time to avoid being stuck.
Before long they were already close yo a coffee shop snd Jade looked over.
To her surprise it was the same coffee shop her new body had ventured into the day its soul disappeared for good.
The more she looked, the more the scene replayed in her mind. It had all happened that she pulled an all nighter checking on Jake so she opted for coffee and went yo get it on her way yo the office before coming out, only to be bumped into by her.
"Ah!" Jade half yelled when the scene of the bump and fighting sprang forth in her memory and she alarmed her driver.
Immediately, he pulled over and looked at her. She was holding her head with both hands. This was the first time the memory brought such painful headache to her.
Not it wasn't a memory. It felt like she was reliving the scene again snd the accident but this time from Jade's angle.
After sometime dge stopped thinking altogether and removed her hand from her head only to see her driver looking g at her with concern filled eyes.
"Ma'am?"
"Sorry. I am fine now. Do jot bother with me."
"Oh would you like to stop for some early morning coffee? It may help with the headache."
"Umm I would love that. If you would please."
"Yes ma."
He quickly parked well at the coffee shop and highlighted from the car.
Just as he was about entering the shoo his eyes caught sight of the place where rhe accident occurred and a mild flash back happened for him.
He had been in the car waiting, when she decided to get the coffee herself and then everything happened in a flash.
He looked back towards the car. It was now he understood why she cringes earlier in and held her head. The flashback must have been painful for her.
Letting out a deep sigh, he made his way in quickly.
He needed to be fast and get her out of the vicinity by all means lest he gets himself into a whirlpool of trouble from his madame when she find outs.
Going in and coming out, he got what he was asked to and went back in, handing her the coffee.
"Here you go young miss. Your coffee, the usual black you like."
"Black?"

Later in the day, Alexa placed a call to her son. She knew he was grumpy with whole marriage thing buy he brought it upon himself as well.
If he had found a bride since no one would have been forcing him to do this.
Not that she was saying their actions were justifiable, it wasn't but they wanted to secure a future for him both in wealth and beauty.
He would thank them one day, they believed.
Not only was Jade beautiful, she was from a rich hone with strong backing. They knew that with her family's influence both companies would thrive in for generations. So it made sense and her parents were responsible, though they couldn't say so much about her but they called it, youthful exuberance.
