However, before Luther Holmes could finish, he was impatiently interrupted by Tiana Williams—
"Enough, young man! Don't mention that name to me! What's he worth? He's too ordinary, his family is too ordinary, we of the Williams Family wouldn't look twice at such a family, such a person. As for your future brother-in-law... I can't say for sure right now, maybe I'll marry him in the future, maybe I won't."
Uncertainty filled Tiana's own voice and after hesitating, she continued:
"But, he is a good person, much better than the likes of Maxwell Perry and his crowd. You'll get a chance to meet him if there's an opportunity."
That was all Tiana Williams could say afterward.
Luther Holmes was evidently still not recovered from his shock!
So, it turned out that his sister had a fiancé!
But, he hadn't had much contact with his sister for many years and was completely unaware of her circumstances; from what he could gather now, her fiancé seemed quite impressive.
