Chapter 4 - Chapter 3: Dream

It's bright, there are many green leafy big trees, and the sun is shining on my skin. Soft noises can be heard everywhere, it was pitch but it was calm coming from the birds flying above the trees. The grass is small with autumn leaves above it. There's a small path sparkling like those fancy royal dresses and gowns wear by Disney Princesses. At this point of time, I realize, I was inside an enchanted forest.

But I'm not alone. Suddenly, I heard voices coming from my back and on my side. I saw some students wearing formal clothes holding their school bag and books. How I wish I could study with them but I couldn't. I'm an orphan and the law does not allowed any orphan to study with the middle, high, and royal class students. However, it's odd that they are here since their school was not that enchanted. I guess, I have to follow them, so I did.

We we're heading south and I assume it's on the school. Then we arrive at the school build inside the forest. I was stunned the moment I look at the school. It's a building surrounded with purple flowers and it's vines. I entered and a student accompanied me into a vacant study table. This is interesting! All of us had our own study table with complete hightech gadgets and we're sitting one meter away from each other. If I known this earlier, I should've debate with Mother Angelica to let us study with the royal ones.

It was fun, all of the students are laughing while talking with each other. They eat together, tease each other. There's also lovers. I feel safe....But not forever. Because after a minute, I found myself trap into a chaos.

I don't know how and I don't know why but I found myself running fast to save my life. Its enigmatic because I can't see who am I running away from but I know that they want to get me. And why am I wearing a white dress again? Common! I hate these kind of clothes!

The students are all gone and the last thing I knew, they already capture me! My own friends on the orphanage abduct me but they are not the 'friends' I've known before. They are wearing black cloak, black make up and their eyes are red...bloody red. I want to run away, but I can't. They tied my hands on my back and we walk down a dark path inside the forest. It's now covered with fog and an eerie atmosphere surrounds here can creep you out. They drag me into a camp with the people I never known and ordered me to sit and I did. I coudn't do anything ofcourse.

'Rechel?' I mumbled when I found out the identity of the person sitting on the chair in front of me. Worry is written on my face as I look at her. She's not on her usual self. She's looking on one point, no hint of emotion on her eyes and she's wearing her necklace. She promise not to wear it. They're controlling her. I start to asked her about what happen to them but she didn't respond. Someone's controlling her. Damn it!

The scene changes and I found myself wearing a uniform, a white long sleeve and a brown stripe necktie with a brown long sleeve vest partner into a brown stripe skirt above my knees and a brown boots. I've never wear this kind of uniform in my entire life. My eyebrows furrowed when I saw bunch of unknown faces of the students gazing at me. Why am I the only one who's wearing a brown uniform while they are all in black? And by the way, who is this tall guy in front of me and why he grab my hand so tight and why did I even following him inside this cafeteria? The thought of this scene makes me imagine the scenes I've read on some novels.

I was still on the thought of the possible reasons why I was here when the scene changes again and I found myself caught in a trap in the middle of blood sucking creatures with bloody red eyes and fangs. Fear run through my veins as they start to attack me one by one. The hell with this! I'm not a prey—shit, I'm actually the prey here and their my blood sucking predators. Damn it self! Is there anyone going to save me here? No. No one's gonna save me here.

I'm dead. Really dead.

"Ms. Wisteria!", I immediately open my eyes as soon as I heard that high pitch voice. Dang it! My head hurts! I look at Ms. Abante's face who's staring at me. No, at my eyes to be exact.

"Uhm, you're too close, Ms." I mumbled and she blink her electric blue eyes and compose her posture. I sit on the bed and look at the clock. It's 5:30. What a wierd dream of being caught by vampires. I smirk, not knowing that Ms. Abante saw it. She frowned, "What's with the smirk?", she ask with a hint of annoyance on the tone of her voice. I shake my head.

"It's nothing Ms. Abante. Just...good morning, do you need something from me?", she walk through the table and took one of the books, "you know, it is better not to read some horror novels before going to bed or else it will hunt you in your dreams," she commented while looking at the book about supernatural creatures I've read yesterday night. I forgot to keep it.

I get up and fix my bed while Ms. Abante open my closet and grab a pair of white cloak and white boots, "fix yourself, we're going to the town's market," my head immediately turn to her as excitement filled my stomach. My face show a smile full of excitement, "Is Rechell gonna come with us?", she turn to me with a frown face, "uhm, about that, well..sad to say, she will not join us...", the smile on my face fade as well as the excitement.

"Why not?", I ask on a low tone of voice. This is bad. I'm not feeling well. I've never been far away with my bestfriend. She's been with me all the time and now that we're not together...tsk. "You'll get use to it, Ms. Wisteria," she hissed.

"Why did Lady Karmen do this, she knows that it's bad for the guardian to be away on her bond," she whisper, words that I couldn't even understand.
