Jia stood in Dylan`s arms for a second before putting some distance between them. If they were going to talk, she needed to be able to think and she couldn`t do that with him surrounding her.
"I was worried about the others," Jia admitted," I hope they survived the attack at the Fair Folk village."
"I`m sure they`re fine," Dylan assured her.
"How do you know that? How can we be truly sure? We have no way of contacting them or them us and we`re all dimension apart. This mission was hard enough in the beginning with us going n blind but now we`re going in blind with half of us. How are we supposed to make sure that everything's okay back at home?"
The Knight sighed, "Because I know our friends and more importantly, I know Tristan, Cole and Mike. They`ll see that anything else on our side that needs taken care of will be sorted. So that when we make it back, we`ll be at full strength."
