Robin frowned at the locked door as she watched Helen wring her hands, "You remember what I told you about my affinity?"
"You said it was unwise to mention it to others and you only told people that you know you can trust," Robin recounted as she remembered the day she visited her with Amara and found out about Helen`s past.
"And do you remember what I told you about my Luke?"
Robin nodded with a sad smile, "Your love?"
"Luke was, as the society dictated, an undesirable "Helen said with a bitter smile, "And I couldn't be with him because of that…but my affinity told me that I belonged with him. His kind were not tolerated by the world we live in and I had to do what I could to protect him."
