Jia sat in her room and tried to very hard not to think of what would be happening today. Nurse Irma and Doctor Quin would be coming to Castle Paravel to see if there were any chances with her mama and herself. Honestly, she didn`t feel any different from the last checkup. Sighing, she fell back in her bed and tugged her covers up to her chin. Outside, the weather was grey. A storm was coming and for some reason, that helped a little.
Her phone rang, startling her and she answered it without bothering to check the caller ID. She then frowned when she heard a familiar male`s voice, "Jia?"
"Tristan?"
"Yeah, hey."
"Hi, umm…how did you get my number?" Jia said as she sat up again.
"Chase helped me."
"Oh," Jia made a mental note to call her friend later and question him.
"I just called to check up on you."
Jia shrugged as if her could see her but then mentally scolded herself before answering, "I`m doing okay."
