The next day after the crazy date night started in a blaze. Suzaku and Kalgad woke up from their sleep to see that the whole city was burning down, people were running for their lives and trying to use magic to defend themselves, and monsters were chasing them and killing them in the bloodiest ways. Kalgad ran outside in just his shorts and looked around to see if his dad was around, but couldn't see him anywhere through the smoke, and felt his body gradually getting weaker and fading away. Suzaku rushed out to try and grab him, but it was too late as his brother vanished in front of his eyes, and all that were left were his fans. Isobu and Eve arrived a little later to see that Suzaku had a blank expression of disbelief on his face. "Suzaku, we have to get out of here. Mazoku are disappearing and we can't stay here or we'll die with them! Kyubi, Isaac, and Zheng are dead, we can't join them and have all we done been for nothing!" Isobu yelled, but Suzaku remained unresponsive and unable to process what was happening. He thought it was a dream, and that all of it was going to disappear if he just woke himself up. Ray walked over, missing an arm and bleeding out profusely, trying to stay conscious as long as he could. "My sister....my sister's gone..! Dammit..DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT!!! MOM, DAD, WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" he yelled out with his last bit of strength before finally dying. Eve was trying to keep her emotions under control, but she was unable to keep herself from crying and begging for answers. Then a massive blast of energy almost hit the three of them, and it turned out to be someone that was presumed dead, Oliver. He seemed different than before, and had a wicked smile on his face. "Aww, little young'ins looking for their parents huh. Well lemme tell ya, they're dead! All thanks to me!" he laughed, and prepared another massive energy blast. Isobu's fist bled with rage, his teeth chattered in fear, and his legs refused to move an inch. Eve then shot a beam of light into his leg, using the pain to force him to move and take Suzaku with him. They ran away as fast as possible, with Oliver obviously toying with them by shooting finger beams. Isobu's entire body burned, and memories of his parents flashed in his head. "This isn't fair, what did we do to deserve this bullshit...all I wanted was to be with my homies, is that so wrong? Whatever gods are still here, help us fix this! Turn the clock back, change this history, I don't give a damn!! JUST HELP US FIX THIS!!!" Suzaku yelled out, his heart completely shattered but unwilling to give up. Just then a massive orb of unknown energy swallowed all 3 of them, and Oliver stopped in confusion. He then blasted at the orb, but it did absolutely nothing and vanished.
Eve opened her eyes to what seemed like a room full of stars, but nothing else. Like an entire nebula was surrounding them. She then saw someone walk towards them slowly, their footsteps made no sound. Isobu looked closely at the being, seeing that he was a giant of a man clad in forest green with a black cloak that takes the shape of wings as he moves about. His hair is wild and dark, reaching the middle of his back . His eyes burn with an ambition and power unseen before. He extended a hand to Suzaku, his entire presence seemed nonthreatening, and he had a smile on his face. "A pleasure to meet the son of a follower of mine. It's nice to see you all here, the final survivors of this universe. Unfortunately, all universes for the Eden Tree has been destroyed, and as such creation itself is disappearing. However, do not despair." he said, making Suzaku angry. "How can you say that with that smile on your face?! Everyone we know and love is gone, we can't even see their souls since they're part of the collective Source of existence, we can't see them anymore or save anyone!! So don't you dare talk about not despiaring about-" he was cut off with a single finger to his mouth. It wasn't done in arrogance or annoyance, but genuine calmness. "I feel your pain. It hurts me so to see such young souls to be faced with such a fate that was not supposed to befall you. This is an action that cannot go unpunished, but can only be done once. Note, once this is done you must ensure this never happens again, or it will be another hundred millennia before this process can be done again." the man said. Isobu looked at the blood from his hand, and closed his hand again. "We'll do it. We got families, homes, friends to go back to. I don't care if we gotta go back from absolute zero again, it's worth it! Now do it!" he yelled. The man smiled again, and chanted in an unknown language, and in what seemed like an instant, everything went a bright white, then black, and then white once more. The last thing all three of them heard was the man saying his name. "Know now that I am Xath'kyrzian of the Tower of Stars, and the 13 shall always be here when you need power most."
Suzaku woke up with a start, seeing that his house was the same, and Kalgad was sleeping above him like he always was. He ran to look for his dad, and saw Harris in his bed, but looked a little different. He had long dreads, and had a bit more muscles than before. He also noticed his second dad was gone, and realized that it was part of the price. In order to change history, it meant some people wouldn't be around the same way, and that many other things would change. "I hope papa Kamai is safe...whoever he is now. And Eli too...man I hope he's still around. I'm hoping he is." he said. He then called everyone to see if they were still around, and thankfully they were. Everything was back to normal seemingly, and the Eden Tree was in tact again. Suzaku let out a comforting sigh of relief and sat down while looking around. The doorbell rang and when Suzaku opened it, he saw that Zheng wasn't an undead Jiangshi, he was a chubby red Foo Dog spirit, and it was a little surprising to see him go from undead to an adorable spirit.
