Prologue Part 1

My name is Leto Arlan Hisoki Onyemechi, yes that is my name. They are from different cultures but I prefer to separate them unless I move to Japan again. I am a background character in this world. I realised my name was weird meaning no name, nobody, secretive, no tomorrow, what not. That was an early give away until I was attacked by a huge monster resembling a dog.

It chased me down greedily growling at me. It also seemed like it was toying with me slowing down at times. I was crying tears and snot out my nose. Desperately trying to find a way out, I ran towards a narrow alley thinking the dog wouldn't catch me. I went into the alley and the dog came after me and bit my belt drafting me towards it. I was forcing myself to go forward while it dragged me back, in the process my belt bursted or was cut by how sharp the creature's teeth are. I panted while exiting the section of the alley and dropped on the ground in exhaustion and trying to find a good explanation for it.

' What was that, is it a creature the government made and escaped, a mutation and is going to be an apocalypse. Calm down Arlan'

I got up using the wall on my left side to support me using my arm to traverse the wall walking the alley. I used my right arm to fix my pants in place, that is when I heard growls. I looked behind me, shocked eyes wide open, cursed and let out some rambling noises. In the alley casted in a shadow with the help of the buildings I ran. I then meet a dead end. I turned around, glowing eyes that were once behind me itching with blood lust. I tried to calculate my moves, not thinking straight, I saw every outcome as death! I looked to my new left and I saw some metal bar pieces around some were rusty but in all they were old and was a destroyed ladder on the side of the abandoned apartment building. I ran towards the left, keeping my pants up and grabbing a metal rod pointing at the monstrous creature.

It charged at me, claws out ready to cut me open. I dogged only cutting pieces of rod and ladder, and leaving claw marks on the wall. The creature was off balanced, tripped and went in a daze. I used this time to climb the broken ladder. A piece of the ladder broke off causing the creature to come out of its daze. Its black fur raised and its eyes turned bloodshot red darkening it's already red eyes at my efforts in anger and rushed to me roaring. I panicked and almost slipped.

Sweat coming down my head and all over I wondered at the time and now how I did not even piss my pants.

The beast leaped on the ladder giving it a temporary boost while the ladder is now cutted into pieces by the creature. My breath started to get heavy looking at the beast before me. I thought, 'Should I accept my fate and die? No, I don't want to die, what will happen to mom and dad if I am not there!'

The beast claws comes inches closer to me by the seconds. Am I going to die!
