Looks like I'm the first one back, huh. Well, considering that I had Neo's portals to rely on while the others had to use regular modes of travel, like a bunch of normie peasants, that's not exactly surprising, I suppose.
A few hours had passed since we got back, Neo had gone to report what happened to the higher ups, and I was just lazing about in my room.
Still, though...that was a seriously rough mission, mentally speaking, anyway. And having experienced that, my whole perspective of Harmony has changed now, as has my understanding of Meta-Human society in general.
Neo had seemed kinda cold at the start of our mission, but now I see that he was just trying to put on a brave front, it was pretty obvious now that I look back on it.
And you know what, in a fucked up way, I do kinda understand why this mission was necessary, or rather, I can understand Harmony's perspective on it.
