"Th-they really tried to kill me...," Muttered the Demon who'd been leading me to the bridge, a shell-shocked look on his face.
I'd been using my senses to avoid running into any Demons or Devils as much as possible, but as we got closer to the bridge leading back to the living world, it soon became impossible to get any further without running into any of them.
So I changed tactics and decided to head for the bridge in a straight line, regardless of how many obstacles there are. And we ended up running into a pretty large number of Demons.
They tried to kill both me and my guide, and succeeded in killing me once. I then proceeded to destroy them upon resurrection, before they could kill my guide. I've now used up five of my nine lives, meaning I can only resurrect four more times.
