"I second that," Added Alexis in agreement.
It was several hours after the Monster outbreaks suddenly got drastically worse in the blink of an eye, as a bunch of people suddenly and inexplicably awakened their Auras. Well, inexplicable at the time, anyway.
I'd been running dangerously low on Aura while trying to deal with the Monsters, right before Neo showed up and portaled me back to the campsite, where Zoraiz, Alexis, Fenris, X, the twins and Adelmira had already been brought back to.
And it wasn't long after that that I found out what exactly was going on, and why normal humans had suddenly awakened as Metas simultaneously...Liling had uploaded a video that she'd live streamed, claiming that every single person in the world had now awakened their Meta genes.
