"Watch out, get down!" I exclaimed, as I shot towards Alexis and swung my arm across as she ducked, slamming my forearm onto the throat of a Hobgoblin than had sprang up behind her.
"Thanks for that. There's way too many of these things," She sighed in response, as she fired out a lightning bolt past my left shoulder, hitting a Lizardman than was creeping up on me.
"At least we're almost done here," I remarked, trying to look on the bright side, as I swung my foot up and slammed my heel down onto the head of a Goblin that leapt at my legs.
"Yeah, but who knows how long it'll be before we're sent on another assignment to deal with a Monster outbreak somewhere else?" She grumbled in response, as she grabbed a Shadowraven by the face with a vicious electric spark and crackle, before slamming it onto the ground and splitting its head open, breaking its beak.
