They're all on edge, with varying degrees of aggression being directed at us...what do I do? How am I supposed to calm them down?
"Listen, we mean you no harm...we are Meta-Humans who were sent to the nearby village to investigate, and we found out the cause of why this happened. At the very least, don't you want to know that?" Spoke up Liling.
They were silent for a moment, exchanging skeptical and wary glances with each other, before one of them stepped forward with a grimace...
"Very well, then...explain it to us. But do not expect us to simply give up and spare the bastards who murdered our children," He remarked icily.
"Thanks for hearing us out. And please wait till I've explained the whole story," Replied Liling, before telling them about everything we found out.
