In the center of the forest, Raia began his daily hunt.
He roamed around the forest, killing the beasts he encountered.
However, he was not traveling further but making his way back into the spiked-green tiger cave.
…
A few days ago, he discovered something incredible while listening to the lesson of Sir Timothy.
He was just casually listening to him talking but in his surprise, he quickly understood and remembered the lesson clearly and almost without effort.
Raia was not the best at studying and at least he was not bad at it either. He was just average but was still better than Aaron.
This time, his learning multiplied a few times. He digested the information from the lesson as easy as breathing and absorbed the knowledge like a sponge.
Amazed by his learning capacity, he took some of the books he had in the past and studied it after he got home the other day.
He was smiling when he was sure that his understanding improved by a lot.
However, he was wondering how did it happen.
After pondering for a few minutes, he had his conclusion.
"It must be because of that green spirit stone that I refined. The energy from that stone strengthened my spirit by a lot. I know that people can increase their learning capacity if their spirit is strong enough. My spirit is not yet at perfection state unlike my foundation and body but I am sure I can achieve it. I am at least at intermediate state right now. That is already great considering I am still at 1st level Martial Spirit State. However, reaching even the peak state of the spirit is already hundred times more difficult than reaching the peak state of the body. And attaining its perfection state is almost impossible."
He started to talk to himself.
One of the effects of strengthening the spirit was an increase in learning capacity. The stronger the spirit, the higher the learning capacity an individual can have.
People who reached the peak state of their spirit became powerful individuals of not just Rhost but even in the whole system.
Those individuals, however, can only be counted on one hand.
There weren't even a thousand that have peak state spirit in the entire human Race. That was just for the peak state in spirit.
Perfection state foundation and body was already very rare to achieve more so for the perfection state spirit.
And someone with perfection state foundation, body and spirit has never appeared before in the entire human race!
If Raia could also push his spirit to its perfection state, he would be unrivaled not just in Rhost but also in the whole human race as long as he kept getting stronger.
"I need to find something like that green spirit stone that strengthens the spirit."
He then remembered something and took out something from the storage space.
A small size green stone appeared on his hand.
Raia felt a faint amount of energy inside this green stone. Unlike the green spirit stone from the alpha green tiger that shines so bright, this stone was only glowing a faint green light.
He then decided to absorb its energy.
Only a few seconds later and the energy emptied out.
Raia just felt a second of the energy inside his body before it completely disappeared. However, it was the same energy as from the shining green spirit stone he had used before.
He was disappointed. With this amount of energy, he needed tons of this green stone just to feel any improvement.
If he was going to mine the cave of the spiked-green tigers, it would take so much of his time.
He was thinking of his next step.
"Guess I'll just go back to the tiger cave later to investigate."
…
That was why he decided to return to the spiked-green tiger cave.
After more than twelve hours, he was already half way back to the cave and decided to exit the world inside to rest.
Back in his room, Raia took a shower first before heading to bed.
That day, he didn't cover more parts of the forest but still hunted hundreds of beasts on his way. He also discovered a few new beasts that were only ranging from low-rank 2 to high-rank 2.
Raia was not interested in these beasts but he still killed them nonetheless. His siblings can use them in their cultivation.
Right now, Rhea was still at 4th level Martial Foundation State but he can advance to the next level any day soon. On the other hand, Rome and Rina were still at mid 1st level Martial Foundation State.
His parents didn't improve much despite the crystals he gave to them. He was thinking that that was not enough for them to advance.
'They were still using the low-rank 3 crystals from outside. I'll just give them the ones from this world after I hunted beasts outside. It would be crazy if I just give them these things without even going outside.'
He closed his eyes and fell asleep.
…
Raia went to school the next morning.
In the classroom, Caroline and Veronica approached him and the three began having a discussion about cultivation. Raia was not the best in cultivation but he still answered the questions he knew the answer of. He also gave them some advices in hunting beasts.
Caroline and Veronica were amazed to learn many things from Raia.
The two haven't gotten outside to hunt beasts before and the information Raia handed over to them expanded their knowledge about beasts and how to fight them.
'He really is experienced in hunting beasts. I thought he was just killing low-rank 1 to low-rank 2 beasts outside but he was also fighting the mid-rank and high-rank ones. What an amazing guy.' Caroline thought. Many of them knew about Raia hunting beasts during weekends for credits.
However, they didn't know what he experienced outside.
"Raia is amazing. I want to see you fight sometime." Veronica said with a sweet smile.
"Sure, if I have time." He replied.
The two smiled brightly. "That is a promise then!" Caroline shouted.
At this time, Aaron entered the room and walked to Raia. His eyes were half-open and his face looked exhausted.
"What is wrong with you?" Raia asked bluntly.
Aaron stared at him. "I was trying to study last night and when I realized that I can't even enter the top one hundred, I continued studying till morning."
The final exam is divided into written and practical exams. The scores in each part will be tallied and the result would be the total points of the students.
The written exams would be about theories and solving problems while the practical exam is strength measurement and battle simulation.
Both exams have 500 points each with a total of 1000 points. The passing points for the students is 700 and below that results only to failure.
At the end, all of the students will be ranked based on their total points. Then the rewards will be distributed.
The rules about the final exam are rather simple.
Aaron was worried about his written exam. He was a bit confident about the practical exam but he was afraid that he would get low in the written exam and it would drag his total points down.
He wanted to at least take a place in the top 100.
Among the 350 graduating students, being placed even in the top 100 was a great achievement.
Caroline and Veronica were the same in a sense that they also wanted to enter the rankings. However their goal was to enter the top 20.
"Do you need my help?" Raia asked.
When Aaron heard this, his eyes lit up. He held both of Raia's hand and almost cried. "Please help me my handsome friend!"
"Boy, you don't have to hold my hand." Raia pushed Aaron's hands while wearing a disgusted face.
Aaron fell to the floor and hugged his thighs and started sobbing.
Raia rolled his eyes. "I will help you. So please stop doing that. Your snot is going to my pants." He pushed away Aaron with no effort. They have different states after all.
"When can you help me?" Aaron knelt on the floor and asked Raia.
Raia looked up for a moment. "Tomorrow is fine."
"Really?! Then I will go to your house tomorrow morning." Aaron said happily.
Raia creased his brows. "Why is it my house? Let's just go to yours."
"You know my room is always a mess, right? We wouldn't be able to focus there."
"Then we will use the living room." Raia casually said.
"That place is a mess too." Aaron smiled awkwardly.
"Then let's go to use the dinner table. We just needed a table anyways."
Aaron coughed. "That place is a mess too. Actually, every part of our house is a mess so we don't have a choice but to go to yours."
Raia knew that Aaron was lying and he just really wanted to go to his house.
"Come one, man. I also wanted to see Uncle and Auntie." Aaron reasoned.
Raia gave out a sigh. "Yeah. Sure. Just come tomorrow morning and bring some food. I am already helping you in your study so you go bring our food. If you're not even doing that, just don't come."
"Hmpf. Of course, I will bring you food, you creditless kid." Aaron said with a smirk but when he saw the glare of Raia and what he was about to say, he quickly apologized. "I'm sorry."
All of these were being witnessed by Caroline and Veronica. They stared at each other and nodded.
"Uhm…can we also join your study?" Caroline asked Raia.
The two boys turned to them. Raia hesitated but he still agreed.
'At least I will have some normal people to talk to. Being with Aaron all day would be very tiring.'
"Yes, sure. Just come tomorrow morning and we can study together." Raia answered with a smile.
The two ladies beamed.
'Yes! He agreed!' Caroline was shouting inside.
'Th-this is the first time I am going to a man's room. I am nervous.' Veronica was already nervous although she was still at school.
"Ah, right. We don't know where your house is. Let's exchange phone codes so we can contact each other." Caroline said.
Raia nodded. "Sure."
He took out his phone and exchanged phone codes with Caroline and Veronica.
'That was smooth.' Caroline chuckled inside.
'Good job, Caroline.' Veronica wanted to give her a thumbs up.
After talking for some more minutes, Sir Timothy entered the room and began his last lesson.
During lunch time, Raia and the three ate their meal together.
Before the day ended, Sir Timothy gave some more advices about the final exam. At the end, he told the schedule of the class for the final exam.
After which, Raia went home.
…
Raia went straight to his room to study some of the lessons he missed from being absent for a whole week.
After studying for a few hours, Rose called him to dinner.
Hauran informed him that the amber sword and dagger were selling really great.
People wanted to know what kind of material he used but Hauran kept it confidential. If they wanted to know what it is, then they should look for it themselves.
Raia was happy when he heard the news.
"Do you still have materials to work with?" Raia asked Hauran.
Hauran nodded. "I still have more than half of the horns. It would probably last a few more days."
Even though his cultivation didn't improve, he can still make the amber swords by himself. It was not like the sword that he forged for Raia that was made of pure four-horned goat's horn after all.
"I'll hunt the day after tomorrow to get you some more materials."
Rose raised her brows. "What about school?"
"Right. This was our last day in school and the following days were given to us to prepare for the final exam. Some of my classmates will come here tomorrow so we can study together." Raia explained.
"Who are these classmates of yours?" Hauran asked with teasing eyes.
"Aaron will come. Also Caroline and Veronica."
"That brat Aaron? Hoohh…Two ladies huh…Be careful not to…" Before Hauran even finished, Rose slapped his shoulder.
Rose smiled at Raia. "I understand. It is better to have someone to study with. I should prepare some good meals tomorrow for them then."
Raia shook his head. "Don't worry about it, mother. I already asked Aaron to bring the food."
"That is fine. I will still prepare some snacks for them. They are our guests after all." Rose said with a sweet smile.
Raia just nodded.
"Raia, just take one at a.." Hauran was smacked by Rose in the head.
The young man shook his head while smiling.
After dinner, Raia played with Rome and Rina. When the two were already sleepy, he led them to their rooms.
Raia returned to his room and entered the world inside.
…
He inhaled the rich air and did some light stretches.
With a kick to the ground, he gunned himself away and made his way back into the cave of the spiked-green tigers.
