The raven-haired Miss Maid Tifa had already thought that Shard would refuse, shaking her head:
"Don't worry, I'm not asking you to test the potion. Isn't it more convenient to use rabbits or mice for experiments?"
She pointed at herself:
"Actually, I just want to find someone to compare the effects of these three magic potions on different people. I'll drink with you, and then we can compare the different answers between us."
"You're going to drink too?"
"Of course, my own feelings are the most authentic. Besides, if I don't drink, Detective, would you drink something of unknown origin that I offer alone?"
But in reality, even if Miss Maid Tifa Servet were to drink as well, Shard still felt averse to the idea.
"I wouldn't have intentionally wanted to harm you. The lady introduced work to you, and even agreed with you on when to disclose secrets. You can doubt my intentions towards you, but you can't doubt my loyalty to the lady. This, Detective, you should understand."
