Lucas fiercely dashed forward as Darksteel suddenly appeared in his grasp. His pupils lit up in a purple glow as he furiously slashed sideways with murder intent pouring out of his blade.
Ruby drew out her daggers surprisingly ignoring Coldfire, and instead rushed up to Lucas with a devilish grin on her face. Her hands flickered as several bolts of white light flashed, while her eyes suddenly narrowed.

Due to the unexpected power behind the attack, Ruby was sent skidding back meters as she suddenly spat out a mouthful of blood. Lucas smirked as he gave chase, leaving afterimages as he closed up the distance between him and Ruby.
'Naive...' Ruby sneered as her eyes suddenly shone while a strange scarlet crystal formed on her forehead. The crystal began pulsating with power before shooting out a thin line of red energy.
