Two Hundred years ago, humanity was on the brink of death when yōkais suddenly showed up overwhelming humanity and just when things was looking at its worst, eight humans with powers decided to join forces, and fight the yōkais who sought to destroy. These 'heroes' were known as the Eight Paragons.

Well this is the story that both my grandfather and older brother told me every night, and he claims to be a seventh generation Paragon. Back then I was intrigued to know he was a samurai with supernatural; owning land title within his kingdom or empire.

One day a short man with white hair in weird clothes found me in the forest, with an outstretched hand, the old man beckoned to me

"Do you want to come with me son?" he said with a smile.

I answered, "yes".

Without hesitation I went with him to his house. It was huge and luxurious, and it was in white and brown.

It was on a hill I could see the entire town from where I was.

He invited me in and introduced his grandson whom at the time looked like he was two or three years older than I was, and he was much taller than me as well.

His hair was bright yellow, and so was his eyes. He was dressed in weird clothes just like the old short man.

"Wow your hair is sky blue." While rubbing his hands through my hair.

"Hey I'm Elliott and what's your name? "

"I don't have one", I replied.

The old man looked at me, and place his right hand on my head, and smiled.

"I will give you one, from now on your name is Coreyil sora."

I was so happy that I got a name, and that someone wants me. A feeling of family immediately came over me.

A few months later he taught me the custom, and rules of his this emperor which was run by him.

He taught me how to wear a Kimono, which was the traditional dress back then.

The short old man was disciplined and taught me how to fight hand to hand combat, and also swordsmanship. My training also included Elliott; who was pretty good I must admit.

I had to learn how to use Haku in many ways.

I rushed over to my grandfather shouting "grandpa, grandpa, look what I can do!"

He turns around and I showed him. "Wow you coated your sword with Haku good job."

"Yeah pretty cool, right?"

"Indeed maybe one day you and Elliott could beat me." while he laughs.

"Speaking of Elliott have you seen him Coreyil?"

"No I haven't" I answered.

"I got you now old man!" Elliott shouted while jumping out of a tree.

Realizing what was happening and with his quick reflexes Grandpa dodged.

"you know surprised attack should be surprised."

He sat where he was telling us to sit with him.

He asked, "boys what do you want to be when you grow up?"

I looked at Elliott, and looked back on grandpa.

"I'm going to take your title as Paragon, and build this emperor even more." I answered.

He laughed proudly.

"Is that so Cory, and what about you Elliott?"

Elliott with a creepy looking smile, stood up and said I wish to do the same thing but I will be Cory's right hand man.

All grandpa did was smiled.

It has 10 years since then.

I was standing on the edge of a mountain looking down on a kingdom with Chloe a half cat, half human.

She's a bit taller than me, standing at around 5 feet 6 inches I guess. She's 16, one year older than me.

she was wearing a black skirt with a white tube top and jacket with white fur on the top of the jacket which was on her shoulder and the sleeve as blowing in the air.

Her hair was silver and reach all the way down her back.

She has a black and white tail, and hears with the same color she's a human cat.

"wow this kingdom is really big it sure does reminds me of home!"

Speaking of home it has being six months since we left this kingdom made the ninth one so far and I can't found him anywhere, where is your brother.

We went down in the kingdom looking around the kingdom was full with people everywhere it was so lively people dancing, sell, and buy kids playing tag, and other games.

We decided to go to a bar to get something to eat while on our way I bumped into a girl.

Coincidentally, her hair was also bright yellow but her eyes were sky blue.

I was couple inches taller than her, and she was wearing a black skirt, black jacket and a white shirt.

It has been 15 mins since we were there.

While serving us the bartender told us to be careful when we were leaving because [imp] yōkais was attacking people at nights lately. Without saying a word she turned and walked away.

I looked at chole and told her. "We should stop them before anyone more people gets kill."

She reply, "yes I agree."

Chloe asked the bartender, "Miss can you tell them where are they showing up so we can avoid them."

"Yes I do the tall old abended build its blue, and have broking windows just north form here."

We thank and payed her.

Then we left the bar, and went to the building, but instead of going in we waited outside on the roof of a building across the street.

We sat, talk and other things, but nothing happen we haven't seen one imp I wondering if that lady was just making things up.

"Its 11pm and nothing is happen, so let's go."

As I was about the agree with her something happen the girl that I bumped into was walking by saying she's was going to be late.

"Wait is that the girl form earlier doesn't she know she shouldn't be walking here this late at night."

"Says the girl that's on a roof for 4 hours."

When she was walking pass someone came out of the shadow, and approach.

"who the hell are you."

He reply, "we have come for you." [Big imp 1]

then four hands came out of the shadow she started to run and calling, for help, help, help when she was on the fourth help the hands grab her, and drag her into the building.

"Before you do something stupid lets."

When Chloe turns around to finish to the sentence I was already gone.

I couldn't find anyway in the building, but the roof.

It was made out of glass so I could hear them. They rip off her clothes and left her in her underwear while she was passed out.

"We can't let her live she's the reincarnation of the nineth celestial holder."[ divinest]

"We have to kill her before her powers awaken."

I can't believe it that girl is the divinest grandpa always talking about.

[Flash back ]

"What's a divinest grandpa."

"Not what cory who is a divinest she's a bean who have been alive for 200 years."

"She always reincarnate as a woman she is said to be the balance between all the worlds if you ever run into one protect her."

So that's her huh I thought she would be more powerful

She started to wake up, and saw that she was tied up from head to toe on a column in her underwear.

she starts to look around, and saw the 3 imps. 

"Who no, what  the hell are you."

"We're imps."

"Where am I do you even know who I am . Kiyomizu the daughter of Asahi kinzoku, and where the hell are my clothes you freaks."

"But he's the one who told u to kidnap you, and kill you."

"What he would never."

( when I think about it he would ever since mom die he got obsesses with our powers.)

[Flash back]

"I can't believe I have such a useless daughter why the hell are you like this can't you be like your brothers and sister."

"I don't want to be like them daddy."

[This morning]

Good morning dad.

Your still in my house why the hell are you still here hurry up, and get the hell out of my house why can't you just die!

[Back]

(Well it's for the best I don't deserve to live.)

I broke the glass that was the roof, and jump through it.

The imps, and the girl looked up I land behind the imps.

"Who the hell are you, and how the you find us."

I smile while I raise my right hand to my chest, and my thumb pointing at me.

"I'm the guy who's goanna kick your ass no release her at once"

Chloe walks up to me from behind, and slap me in the head."

"Wow cool lines but next time don't run off while I'm talking I may be your Doron but I will kick your ass."

(Who are these guys and why is that boy carrying 3 swords and why does that girl has cat, ears and tail.)

I point to the imps.

" Kidnap Is illegal even, for you imps"

I looked at them, and at chole.

"Go, and untie her, and get her out of here I will take them on ."

"Show us what you got human."

When I place my hand one of my sword to draw it.

The big imp [1] shows up behind me when he tries to kick me, but I was able to dodge it.

I still got kick in my shoulder.

While Chloe was untying Kiyomizu ask Chloe if I was going to be ok and she answer yes after all his a samurai.

They charge at me with attacks stopping me form drawing my sword.

I was able to dodge them by the skin of my teeth fighting imps is easily, but fighting one with the brain composite of a 3 stage yōkai is a different thing.

I was able to draw my sword as soon as I drew it.

I coated it in Riku, and was able to take out one of them with a slash.

The imp from earlier was able to punch me into the wall. Chloe saw me hit the wall and start running.

[ damn it I wont make it in time.]

Kiyomizu start to say something, and every metal that was around her starts to turn into liquid.

Surround her the liquid turns to turn into sharp object.

She shouted.

"piercing pillows of mercury !!!!"

Send the pillows into one of the imps.

We all were in shock even the imps a persons who can turn their Haku into elements are rare and ones who can turn them into sub-elements are more rare.

Well she is the divinest I guess anything is possible.

I got out of the rubble.

"Chloe get her out of here now!"

Chloe took her hands, and run with her when they were exiting the imp went straight at them I charge in front of him.

"you're fighting me remember, and I'm not done yet."

He looks at me with a piss face I looked back, and saw they made it outside.

So I turn around while smiling.

looking in his face I was ready to play one of my card.

I jumped into the air I drew, for my other sword then I turn my Haku in to shadow  before coating it on my swords.

"2 emperor sword style: _"  he start shouting no it can't be that's Raphael's technique."

I smiled.

"Shadow vortex slash!"

Creating dark slashes from my swords cutting him to death.

I made it out side I walked up to Kiyomizu.

"So your name is Kiyomizu it means pure water right?"

"Yes it does."

"Well I'm Cory Sora that's Chloe anyways thanks, for your help we have to go now."

[Flash back]

"But if she doesn't want your help then you don't have to protect her. "

As we were start to walk off she stopped us.

" Please take me with you I don't got anywhere else to go."

"I turned around, and walk up to her, and place my hands on her head while smile "ofc I will take you with me."

"Thank you"

"Are you sure about this." 

"Ofc I'm sure, but first you need to find some clothes."

"I have a set in my bag."

We all looked for her bag when we found it she changed, and Chloe transform into her tiger form which can carry 5-6 person, and we left the city.
