I smile remembering it. "Ok ... not bad." I said to myself while looking in the mirror. A brown t-shirt covered with a bone-white sweater and tattered jeans and a light brown scarf and headgear were my choices today. I never comb my short hair, I always use my fingers to straighten my hair. Hmmmm ... plus a little touch of perfume that makes me feel fresh, I smiled to myself. My mother smiled at the behavior of her only daughter. I grimaced, shrugging my shoulders when I saw my mother was smiling, already standing on my left.
"How are you? OK, right?" I asked my mother in the style of a model in front of her.
My mother raised her thumbs squinting her eyes with a smile.
I grabbed the duffel bag on the study table and the gloves I bought at one of the shops in Shite City with my father. Gloves with black and white checkered pattern. As a preparation, if the weather suddenly turns very cold, no one knows the weather conditions in this city.
I went down the stairs with my mother walking to my right, singing and whistling. My voice echoed throughout the house. Aunt Petti just smirked when she saw me coming down the stairs. She didn't say anything, still busy with her work, as usual.
"Hello Aunt Petti, good morning ... Sorry I woke up late. Has my father gone to the Hospital?" I greeted him when I was standing by the table, there was a piece of oxeye egg sprinkled with pepper and cheese toast was available. I picked up the bread on the table and took a sip of Aunt Petti's warm chocolate milk. I sipped the milk with a very loud voice.
SRRRUUUUUPPPPP ....
Aunt Petti was busy cleaning my father's old plates and glasses. Expressionless, Aunt Petti had always been like that. Her gaze was flat, hmmmm .... I shrugged and glanced at my mother who was standing not far from her looking at Aunt Petti's expression.
I put my drink back on the table and left with a piece of toast in hand.
"I'm going Aunt Petti, thank you for breakfast" I said goodbye, Aunt Petti just waved without looking back.
My father said the School Bus would pass by the bus stop across the street I passed yesterday. On the way yesterday my father and I had seen my school building which was about three kilometers from my house. That meant it didn't take long to get there.
Because today my father couldn't take me on the first day of school, because there was a board of directors meeting at the hospital and my father had to leave early in the morning. I have understood the instructions that father gave. I think everything will be fine, I've been going somewhere for the first time so many times. I think dad has started to trust me and is no longer worried about me.
I smiled remembering my father.
"Okay Mom, I can walk there myself." I said, we hugged and I ran quickly across the street. I stopped for a moment, waved to my mother, and my mother smiled.
I walked along the path while whistling, along the way there were colorful flowers on either side of the road. I never thought my family and I would be stranded in a place like this. The smell of flowers that I don't know the name of is disturbing my smell.
The flowers grow wild along the road and no one cares about them. I stopped in my tracks when I saw some orange flowers teasing my vision. The flower has white petals but the flower bowl is blue if we approach it and when we look at it from a distance the flower will look orange. The leaves are really unique, as big as a pin flower on the side of the road as a fence for people's houses, but the stems are also orange. I observed carefully and then I brought my face and kissed him.
"Pufh ...." I took a few steps back, my face was hot I quickly covered my nose with my right hand.
"What flower is this?" I approached again, still curious but this time I did not dare to touch the flowers.
"I didn't expect this beautiful flower to have such a disgusting scent." I snorted.
"No wonder you've never been noticed and you're wild in a place like this." I spoke to myself and left. I still held my nose, intermittently I kissed my hands again.
"It doesn't stink anymore." I looked back.
"What flower is that? How strange." I said to myself.
I shook my head and kept walking.
"Hmmm ... Turn left for a while already" I said still walking while pointing to the right. I walked while hugging my cold body.
The backpack on my back felt very heavy, you know it was my first day at school and I couldn't help but bring some of my textbooks.
And later when I got to school I would leave some of my books in the locker. It was true that the bus stop was visible, and it seemed that I was left behind with the other friends. I sat alone waiting for the next bus when I arrived at the bus stop, I held my hands and a puff of smoke came out of my mouth, I was cold.
My face felt the morning breeze. "Huff! It's so cold" as I swing my legs. It was cold sitting alone waiting for the bus to come. It feels strange and lonely.
I glanced several times at the end of the road. Quiet ...
Yeah, there aren't many people in this city, so early in the morning like this they might go gardening or go to the farm. There was only one truck passing this way as I waited for the next school bus. And that is the last bus. I started to panic, I glanced at the silver watch on my right wrist. I can't stay still and I swing my legs because panic is taking over my mind.
"Could I have missed the last bus?" I said, then stood up and walked forward. I wanted to make sure by looking at the end of the road, it was deserted and there was no sign of life. I took a deep breath and sat back down. I tried my best to be calm. Not long after, I heard a car honk. I was stunned when I saw a black bus stop right in front of me.
