The first round will have the participants spar with trained knights but it's not that easy as it seems.
A faction of Imperial Knights also know as Red Wolf Knights were specially trained for this task. You can use tricks and even magic.
"Why are you so serious? Chill dude" Alex said while putting his arm on my shoulder.
"Haah... I'm hungry" I groaned while holding my stomach.
Alex giggled. "You want to eat something?"
As I was about to respond, his name was called.
"Eh...I guess I have to go now." He pouted cutely.
I grinned, "good luck and you have to win, don't tarnish my name."
He laughed and went away.
I'm bored. Wait... what's that
I saw something, it looked like a man's shadow. I followed the strange shadow quietly.
Where is it going? I followed him deeper into the training grounds.
Then suddenly someone pinned me to the wall. I was a little taken aback but I still kept my composure.
"Who...Who the hell are you?!" I asked coldly.
Then it hit me.
Standing infront of me was a handsome young man with black hair like endless darkness and eyes red like blood.

Wait, what. Isn't this...the emperor..? What is he doing here. And why does his expression look like he found something that he had been looking for a long time.
"Found you." He said in his deep voice as the corner of his mouth turned into a smirk.
Eeek!! Did he realise it was me. There's no way...
He was slowly coming closer to me. I panicked and closed my eyes.
It's now or never
I pushed him with all my strength and he was taken aback.
Didn't expect this much strength coming from a girl, huh?
I ran as fast as I can making sure that he doesn't catch me. I came back to the place where the competition was taking place.
Phew....I took a sigh of relief.
"Where were you?"
I turned around to see Alex looking at me in confusion.
"Nowhere, I was just looking around."
"Nah, it looks like you've ran." He tilted his head slightly.
He sure is sharp.
"Did you pass?" I quickly changed the subject.
"Yes I did!" Alex exclaimed cheerfully.
He looked at me with puppy eyes as if he was asking for something. He wanted to get complimented. I've known him for a long time. Of course I know such small things.
I gently patted his head. He made a cute face like a puppy.
"Why is he so cute?!?!" I mumbled to myself as I looked at him in awe.
"Ezra!"
"That's your call." He said
"Mhm"
I took my sword as I went to the battle ground to fight.
"You gotta win this!"
"Of course" I smirked as I walked to the grounds
