When Aria felt a gun being pressed on her neck at the stream, she was very startled as she didn't expect any other human being on the island.
It seemed as if those people had already discovered their existence as she was directed to where the two guys were.
She really felt bad for Xander who was unwell. What would happen to them?
They were captured and tied before they were led through the woods for almost an hour before they came across a small log cabin.
Honestly they were really surprised. They had thought that they were the only people on the island. But they still couldn't have seen the cabin because they had avoided entering into the deep woods to avoid being lost or encountering a predator.
You could imagine their shock when they were dragged inside the cabin only to find about 8 women in bondage.
It turned out that they had encountered human traffickers.
Aria felt repelled just by the thought and felt like throwing up.
The women looked vulnerable and helpless and it seemed as if they were high on something probably drugged. They had resigned to their fates with the knowledge of what awaited them.
She couldn't take it anymore.
" You freaking criminal what on earth do you want from us?! Why are you treating us like animals are you even human? "
She angrily snapped her red shot eyes sending daggers towards the big boss.
There were 3 other men apart from the scar-faced boss who were obviously his sidekicks.
Big boss's face turned uglier as he roared.
" Bitch! I'll beat the crap out of you if you don't shut the fuck up! "
" Don't you dare lay your finger on
her. "
Xander's eyes turned sharp and threatening. His frozen voice seemed to be coming from the depths of hell.
" You too have to keep your mouth shut else I'll shred the bitch into
pieces. "
Big boss roared back before his phone suddenly rang.

Aria widened her eyes in shock. That meant that they weren't that far from civilization. But how comes hadn't they found help, a helicopter or even a fishing boat?
Qin Cheng shared her thoughts. Xander's aloof expression didn't change. He suspected that some criminal related operations were usually conducted there that's why no one else dared to come near that part of the sea. He also remembered the dead fisherman they found on a wooden boat.
His lips slightly curved up. They were going to use the same idiots to get out of that place. He just needed to wait for the right time.
" What? What is it? Can't you be patient? Your package will be delivered to you! "
The big boss roared at the phone. They couldn't hear what the other person on the other side was saying.
" Tomorrow? Damn it what do you mean tomorrow? "

Someone suddenly whispered on her ears. When her glistening eyes turned to Xander, she saw a certain gentleness and assurance in his dark eyes that helped to sooth her wildly beating heart.
