I wake up in a giant white hall, filled with every style of human you can imagine.
The walls on this place reached infinitely into the sky, yet there was a chandelier hanging by a thread.
It looked as if the room was made by a god of some kind.
But I do have one question...
"Where the fuck am I?"
As proven by the general commotion around the room, it seems I am not alone in my confusion.
Suddenly, all the voices turn quiet, as a voice booms in this great hall.
"Silence."
"Ahem" The voice clears it's throat for a moment "You have all been forcefully reincarnated... do I really have to read this? Fine... Reincarnated because your God is a bastard and too weak to protect you? That's a bit harsh, isn't it?"
"It's what that fucker deserves." A being responds.
"Right... and why are you reincarnating them, exactly?"
"That's... hm. I never really thought about where I'd put them... fuck it, I'll send them to the nearest habitable world. That should be good enough for them to survive, right?"
"Does it matter to you anyways?"
"Nope!"
"..."
As these, for the lack of a better description, Gods, chatted about in the sky, I was contemplating on what they said.
'If we all go there at once there is surely bound to be some chaos, I have to make sure to protect myself once I arrive.'
"What are you waiting for, get them away from me!"
"Alright.."
A bright light engulfs the entire room, even with my eyes closed shut, I feel as if my retinas are being splashed in ghost pepper hot sauce.
But as quickly as the light came, it faded.
And so, sensing the light was gone, I opened my eyes to my new home for the very first time.
A sense of wonder came over me, as I look out into the landscape of rolling green hills, beautiful mountains in the distance, thousands of naked people...
Wait.
'Naked people?'
Oh hell no.
"What kind of orgy is this?!" Someone yelled.
That seemed to open up the mouths of everyone present.
---
'I have to leave, now.'
I didn't like being in the middle of a swarm of people, it's too damn loud!
Not to mention that, in spite of being hardly able to hear myself think, I knew that things were going to get ugly soon.
No clothes?
No food?
No water?
Pure chaos will reign here soon, as people compete for resources.
It's made even worse by the fact that most people couldn't understand a lick of what others were saying.
Because of this, even though I want to leave, I must find allies.
Even if I was somehow able to live semi comfortably alone in the wild, I will eventually be robbed because no matter how strong you are, 10 desperate people will always beat 1 man.
After running for what seems like forever, I spot a few people who are actually having a conversation. That's right, a single conversation took THIS LONG to find.
And luckily for me, they spoke English.
Time to make my entrance.
---
After getting acquainted with these folk I learned a few things.
Mainly being that they planned to work together to survive in the wild, and hopefully be able to reinvent modern technology along the way.
A second being that, these were city people who have never worked a day in their life.
...
Welp. I'm fucked.
I'll stick with them anyways, I'll live longer if I have numbers in this coming crisis.
Not to mention, that the chances of finding another organized group like this that speaks my language, is slim, at best.
Right now though, we are trying to find a way out of the horde of people.
We've been following the river downstream, and there are less and less people as we go. At this point, the only people who have made it this far out are some loners and a few groups like ours.
Speaking of our group, it seems I should describe them.
First is Jacob, he's a white lanky guy from New York. I don't know how old he is, but he looks like a teenager.
Second is Kent. Don't know anything about him other than he looks like Ben Shapiro's ginger cousin.
Third is Ron, he's a bit older than the rest, and has the most survival skills out of everyone (Or so he says.)
The last person is a kid named Roger, who barely talks.
---
As the crowd of people gets thinner and thinner, we finally hit a breakthrough.
"Trees! And a lot of them!" shouts Jacob as he points in the distance.
And so we set eyes upon the first forest we see in this world.
It promised danger and hardship.
But also brought us a way to hide.
