Chereads / STUCK WITH AN ANGEL / Chapter 2 - Connected To The Past

Chapter 2 - Connected To The Past

Azrael started executing its mission. Abasi could feel Azrael's presence for his senses were always high. Azrael finally entered Abasi's house just as planned. Abasi could not see the Angel because it came from another realm, but he could feel a death-cold breeze and a strong force that almost made him kneel. But as the Angel passed through the living room the spell circle activated and a green light started appearing from the ring in the middle of the circle and he was able to see the angel.

He saw the Angel and he trembled in fear for he knew that this angel was on another level compared to the demons he is in contact with. The angel was covered in a long torn black cloak hovering with a giant scyth on its hands filled with the blood of the people it slaughtered.

Suddenly very big chains started to form on the circle and tied the angel to the ground. It screamed in a language unknown to man. Abasi was amazed to see that the spell could subdue the angel. He wondered, if the spell is strong enough to subdue the angel then the demon who created it would be much stronger than the angel. Out of nowhere a large amount of bloodlust originated behind him.

Abasi with all his might turned back to see who it was. It was a large muscular figure with two horns and a large tail. It had a red-blood skin and had very large scars all over its body. Its face looked like a bull and had three eyes of fire. The demon laughed at the angel and looked at Abasi and said,"You have done well mortal, I didn't expect that you could have the capacity to wield a 10th tier magic spell."

"I will take it from here on."

"Who are you? Are you Seth?" Abasi questioned the demon.

"Well I guess you are worthy to know the name that was bestowed upon me by the archdemon Asmodeus. My name is Balmoth. I am the fourth demon general of archdemon Asmodeus."

The demon then walked towards the angel and spoke to it in some unknown language. Soon after the demon spoke to the angel it went into rage and with all its might and magic it swung its scyth towards the demon and cut its head off. Abasi was caught in the attack and started bleeding all over the floor and fell down.

With the restriction on, Azrael used its magic to the maximum and had nothing left to prolong the imprisonment. The angel was locked in the ring for eternity.

Seeing the ring as his last hope Abasi crawled towards the ring and wore the ring. Before he could harness its powers he died.

Inbar witnessed everything in fear as the effect of the potion disappeared gradually. She came back to reality and was in shock.

Few days later the Israelites were allowed to return to their promised land, Inbar took her child and fled with the Israelites.

The pharoh later found out that his brother Abasi was murdered by the Israel God. He was furious and send a large army to kill all the Israelites. But then every single one of them were killed. The pharoh mummified Abasi and swore revenge against Israel.

Abasi's body was placed in a sarcophagus and was locked by ancient magic and was buried underneath Abasi's palace as a monument for his greatness, for they thought he died fighting the Israel God. Then the pharoh died and new pharohs came forward and they gradually forgot about Abasi.

Years later there were wars and everything was destroyed. No written scriptures, no landmarks, no monuments. So no one knew where the ring was but they kept searching for it. The End.

Now go back to sleep."

"But Dad, what happened to Bethzalel?" Jerry asked curiously.

" Inbar married a man named Nun from the tribe of Ephraim. Nun took Bethzalel as his own son and renamed him as Hoshea. Then returned to Israel and lived happily."

"How do you know all this if everything was destroyed?" Jerry asked again.

"Inbar in her last days wrote letters to Hoshea regarding his real father. We found it few years ago and started our research on it."

"Now go to sleep or else you will be late for school tomorrow."

He gave Jerry a goodnight kiss and was leaving the room when Jerry asked, "Dad, did Mommy think the ring was real?"

Henry took a long pause and then said, "Ye-Yes. We both believed that the ring was real and I will find it. I promise."

Jerry said, "Then I will also help you find the ring. I promise."

Henry smiled and turned off the lights as he left the room.

Henry went to his bedroom and was looking sadly at a picture on his bedside which contained baby Jerry, his late wife Abigail and him. He took the picture and looked at his beautiful wife and said with tears,"I will find your family heirloom, just as I promised our son."
