Soon the night came, and everyone started to get up, go home or sleep; the only ones left were Shu, Ayami, Emma, Yuyen, Fu and Ana.
" Did you guys meet my son by any chance? "
Fu questioned as he sat back down, looking over over at Shu, Ayami and Yuyen
" Yeah—me and Ayami did, Yuyen hasn't, he randomly left after a while, but we just assumed he went back to you so if you're going to ask us if we know where he is, we don't "
Shu replied to which Fu smiled, sighing a little out of relief
" No, I don't need to know where he is; he didn't run away from em or anything, he just went out on a journey. I told him to visit earth if he had time, and it seems like he did "
Fu said, to which everyone there simply nodded; then it all went quiet, just silence, an awkward silence
" It's best we leave "
Shu said, causing everyone to turn and look at him in confusion, just to see him yawning
" I'm tired "
He added, blinking a few times to then take in a deep breath, exhaling seconds later
" Let's leave the two of them here to chat "
Shu continued, scratching the back of his head as he would then start to walk away, back into the castle
" Huh? What is he even talking about? "
Emma questioned, looking around in confusion just to see Yuyen and Ana slowly approaching her, surrounding their arms around her shoulders and neck
" Yeah, we're tired, we'll just follow Shu to our beds "
Yuyen said, as the three women would then walk away, leaving both Ayami and Fu alone
" Hey wait— "
Ayami tried to talk to them, trying to tell them to wait for her, but they just sped up, and once they caught up with Shu, they pushed him in and slammed the door, locking it shut.
" I guess they want us to talk "
Fu said, as he looked over at Ayami, who simply stared at the man
" What's there to talk about? We've talked all day "
Ayami replied, as she would slowly turn away from him, crossing her arms underneath her breast, making the man sigh a little
" I talked, yes, but not with you "
He said, smiling a little and smoothing out his tone of voice as to sound welcoming to the woman in front of him
" Okay then, what do you want to talk about? Make it fast I want to join my husband in bed "
Ayami ordered, turning toward Fu with an impatient look on her face and a constant tapping of her right foot
" I don't really wanna talk about much, I just don't want there to be so much tension between us "
Fu replied, using the same tone as before, testing the waters to see if she would have a proper conversation with him
" Alright, there will be no tension between us then, good night "
She said, quickly turning her body toward the castle's direction preparing to take a step forward
" Please just wait Ayami, let me talk to you, I'm your father, I truly don't want this sort of tension between— "
Fu said but was quickly interrupted by Ayami who rushed toward him with quick steps, putting her index finger in front of his face
" A father who left his pregnant wife, do not forget. My mother told me everything when I was young, everything but your name "
She said, which made Fu squint his eyes a little, not sure how to reply to her or what to even say
" She told me how you fooled her into falling in love with you, you stayed with her and eventually impregnated her, you stayed with her a little as if to give her the impression that you were truly going to stay with her, but you went off and made your kingdom, leaving my mother to raise me by herself, and now you have the courage to come to me and tell me there shouldn't be any tension between us?!?! "
She added, slowly raising her voice with every word that came out of her mouth, sounding more annoyed the more she continued
" Did you truly think I'd overlook that fact because my mother was the one who suffered and I didn't? "
Ayami questioned, as Fu simply looked down at her, and then over at the moon, sucking his lips in annoyance
" That isn't what your upset about, I can tell, it may be part of why there's so much tension between us, but that isn't all of it, still… "
He paused, staring at the moon just to sigh as he would slowly lower his gaze
" I'm trying to relieve our tension, not respond to your lies "
Fu whispered, proceeding to look down at her with a calm expression, just for her to glare at him
" When did this hate for me start? Was it when you met me? "
" No it couldn't have been, I didn't sense any hate from you. Was it in the time of our training? "
" it couldn't have been that either, so then when was it? What made you hate me so much that you don't even want to talk to me? "
He questioned, just for Ayami to stare at him in silence; and then it clicked, Fu now knew when her hatred begun and why; it wasn't over anything petty, but rather, a selfish feeling
" You blame me for your mothers death, don't you? "
Fu added, as Ayami's eyes simply widened in response and her gaze turned into a glare
" I guess I was right then, if it helps I still feel— "
" No it doesn't help! "
She yelled, interrupting the man who simply blinked in response
" It doesn't help at all!! I was nearly 17 when she died, i had so much i wanted to do with her, so much i wanted to experience with her, and I know you don't understand that feeling because you've always been the strongest; you've never had to set down with someone, laugh and cry with them just to lose them down the line!!! "
She continued to yell
" We were young Fu, we all depended on you, we thought that with you around, we were invincible, that no one would die, even my mother who went through all her suffering with me depended on you, and you let us all down!! She died and so did Arthur; and I blame you!! "
