" Okay, so how are going to get up there with our swords in hand? "
Dio questioned as Raven would then place his fingers on his chin, taking a minute to think
" How about we jump like father did?"
Raven suggested, only to get a calm look from Dio, and soon after a small, very small smile
" Can you jump as high as he can? "
Dio replied, with a calm and warm tone which confused Raven a little who turned to look over at him
" No, I don't think so "
" Then why are you suggesting stupid things like that!?! "
Dio yelled, punching the top of Raven's head, slamming him against the ground, sinking his older brother's face into the soil
" Think reasonably, we aren't nearly as strong as him yet "
Dio said to himself, only to then shake his head, placing his hand on his hips as he would then look over at the swords which they had placed against the mountain
" How about we… "
Raven started to stand up, wiping away the dirt on his clothes with small and quick taps
" Fly up there "
Raven finished, causing Dio to blink a few times, turning to look at his older brother once again, staring at him calmly and with that same smile he had before
" Raven "
" Yeah? "
Raven said, looking over at his younger brother with a look of innocence
" Can you fly? "
Dio questioned with a kind and welcoming tone of voice, causing his brother to shake his head from left and right
" No "
As soon as he said that his face went back to the ground, feeling his brother's fist bounce off the top of his head again
" What's with you hitting me!?! "
Raven yelled, instantly standing back up only to get an annoyed look from his younger brother
" You keep saying stupid things, once you stop, I'll stop "
Dio replied, staring at his older brother for a few seconds before looking up at the mountain, trying to think of a way to get up there
" Well you're the one asking me for answers and then get mad when I offer some! "
Raven said, crossing his arms and looking up at the mountain only for Dio's eyebrow to twitch a little, fighting the urge to hit his brother once again.
After a few seconds of thinking, the younger boy nodded and then turned to his brother
" Okay, I got it, grab your sword, we're climbing the mountain "
" Huh? Climb? How are we going to climb it if we have to hold our swords in hand? "
Raven said, only for his younger brother to sigh in irritation; Dio then ripped his shirt in half, with that ripped shirt he proceeded to tie the sword to his back
" Oh "
Raven whispered, to then copy his brother, doing the same with his sword.
The two took a deep breath and then jumped up, grabbing onto the mountain simultaneously, only to then pull themselves up with immense difficulty.
They continued to climb, getting half way through the mountain, their fingers were bleeding and their muscles were aching, they've never in their life had to climb a mountain this big; they never even climbed a mountain, they haven't been put in this sort of situation ever before.
It took them about five hours to get half way up the mountain, only the Gods knew how long it'd take them to reach the top.
" I feel like my fingers are gonna break!!"
Raven yelled, as he would then use the tip of his toes to push himself higher so that he could grab another rock
" Shut up!! You're making me lose concentration!! "
Dio yelled as he would then kick his brother in the rib
" I almost fell off you piece of shit!! When we get up there we're having a battle to the death!! "
Raven yelled as he would then grab onto Dio's left leg, pulling it away so that he could trip
" You fucking red head moron!! Do you know how much weight I'm carrying on my back!! I could die if I fall!! "
Dio yelled, proceeding to kick his older brother in the face, hitting him on the nose by mistake, which cause Raven to let go of the rocks he was holding, causing him to fall.
" Fuck.. "
Dio quickly let go of the rocks he was holding, allowing his body to be pushed down by gravity, and once he was got close enough to his brother, he quickly stabbed his fingers against the mountain, breaking his bones and skin to then grab Raven by his leg, with his left hand, feeling as if his arm was about to rip.
After all the sword on Raven's back had the weight of a condensed mountain.
The veins on his arm began to spread, and his muscles began to pop out
" God dammit, I know you're awake you fucker; grab onto a rock, I can't keep holding you much longer!! "
Dio yelled, causing his brother to close and open his eyes in a matter of two seconds, to then do as Dio ordered him to do
" Huff, huff "
The two brothers began to breath heavily, holding on the rocks for dear life, only to then look at each other and then up at the peak of the mountain
" Alright, let's stop fighting, otherwise we'll die in the process "
Dio said, only to receive a nod from his older brother, and after a second of resting, the two began to climb again.
As they continued to climb, it became harder, they had broken a few of their bones and pulled a few muscles because of that small fight they had.
Raven had a half broken nose, with bits of blood constantly falling out of it, a leg that was aching and the skin from the tips of his fingers ripping apart.
Dio had broken a few of the bones on his finger, and just like his older brother the skin from the tips were peeling off, causing lots of blood to spill out of them.
It took them another seven hours to climb the mountain completely, once they were just a grab away from reaching the top, their father looked down at them and offered them his two hands
" Grab on "
Shu said, to which his children listened, grabbing their father's hands, to then be pulled up
