" So, I want to ask you a few questions "
Shu said as he would then place what seemed to be a cup of tea on a table that stood in front of him.
" What sort of questions? "
Fiana questioned as she looked over at Shu, the huge amount of energy she saw from before was still around him, and that dark thing was still floating around him, she got used to his presence but still there was a sense of fear that came from her, which Shu immediately noticed.
" Well, first of all, I need to know your age, to see wether I can help you with your problem or if I'm too late "
The girl stared at him for a minute before looking around the room, seeing that there was no one but him and her in there, she was a bit uncomfortable, but she trusted her king
" Uh, I'm 7 "
Shu rubbed his chin a little and tilted his head, staring at the girl for a second
" Good, then you aren't too old yet "
Shu said, sighing a bit out of relief, which confused the young girl who slowly grabbed the cup of tea, bringing it to her lips and sipping from it
" Fiana, you see the world differently yes? "
Shu questioned which made the girl choke on her tea, immediately placing it down on the table before she could drop it, she tended to her mouth and then looked over at the man
" H-how did you know? "
She replied, which made Shu nod, whilst crossing his arms and closing his eyes
" So I was right "
He whispered to himself before opening his eyes and looking back at the nervous girl
" Hmm, everything around you, you see it all as if it were made of light yes? "
Shu added, to which she nodded slowly, not sure wether she should have answered that or not, after all the only people who knew were her parents and they hold her not to tell anyone about it
" And at what age did you start seeing the world that way? "
The girl opened her eyes, looking down at her cup of coffee, slowly stretching her hand out for it, drinking some of it to calm herself a little
" When I was 5 I think, one day I woke up and everything was so bright, after an hour I started seeing people, animals and trees as energy "
She replied, with a low tone, to which Shu nodded, thinking a little about her response before sighing
" Alright, so you weren't born with it, which is a good thing, otherwise I wouldn't be able to do anything about it, so then— "
As the conversation continued, everyone waited outside for Shu and Fiana to come out, to the room next there, Shu's children, and wives were waiting, along with Fiana's parents as well as Ean.
" How long is he going to interrogate her? "
Galahad questioned, with a nervous tone, after all he didn't want to raise his tone in front of three queens, they're children and the King's right hand Ean Lianert
" He isn't interrogating her, he's asking her questions for her own sake "
Ean said, as he would then look down at Galahad who blinked a few times before nodding a bit
" What do you mean for her sake? "
Before Galahad could get his answer Shu stepped out of the room, opening the door with Fiana by his side
" She has the eyes, and they aren't the ones that'll help her at all, these are a mutation "
Shu said, looking over at Ean who nodded a little before the two of them got glares from Galahad and Alice
" Excuse me mast—my king, but what are you saying exactly "
Alice questioned, only for Shu to turn and look at her, blinking a few times before sighing
" When I was younger, my grandfather taught me something important; when a child is born, the child will try to mimic the first human's autonomy, and in that attempt, it'll give us humans the ability to use sanctuary energy, as in, our cores and sanctuary veins.. "
Shu said, pausing a little as everyone in the room stared at him
" But there are occasions where a human will even mimic the first human's eyes, which are very special, they grant the person many abilities, but the chance of a person even obtaining these eyes are less than zero, a 000.1 percent chance, which would normally be a good thing… "
Shu walked toward Fiana, staring at her for a few seconds before pointing at her eyes
" But the thing is, that most of the eyes we humans mimic, are a lesser mutation of the first human's, now as I said earlier, the chances of the body even mimicking these eyes are 000.1 percent, and in out of that percentage 99.9 of the times it's a mutation, and only 0.1 percent of that 000.1 percentage are the actual eyes, now, having a mutation isn't necessarily a bad thing, as it grants the person the ability to see energy and understand it better, but the problem is, that in turn for those abilities, every year that passes, the eyes suck off the life force off of the person "
Shu said, which made Galahad and Alice pant a bit, looking over at their daughter with complete worry, which made Shu smile a bit
" But don't worry, she's still young, so there's a way to get rid of all of this "
Shu revealed, which made the two smile, but Shu's smile disappeared right after
" The thing is, we have to do surgery, we can't just take away these abilities, they're part of her, we need to take out her eyes and replace them "
Shu explained, which made the parents nod a bit as the girl simply gulped, afraid of what that even meant
" This surgery is very delicate, and I personally can't do it, my wife Ayami, has been training herself for it, so I'm confident that she can pull it off, but the problem is, although she's practiced, she's never done it on a human before "
Shu said, lowering his tone a little as if trying to lay it down easy on them
" Can't we just use sanctuary energy, take them out and— "
" No "
Shu said, interrupting the red haired woman
" We don't know how sanctuary energy will react, the energy coming from her eyes is pure life force, my grandfather told me that the first human had a completely different type of energy than we do now, and from what he shared with me, he said that it isn't ideal to make these two types of energies collide, or it could make Fiana's brain explode "
Shu added, making the two parents worry even more, their hearts starting to beat faster as all these risks and information entered their head
" I'm willing to offer a free service, and get these eyes out of her, my wife has plenty of eyes in her laboratory, but I'm not sure if we should do it, the risk is high, plus we don't know if anything will happen if we do remove the eyes from her head, we don't know the side effects of any of it, not for humans at least, so it's really up to you three "
Shu said, making the two parents think about it, and once they agreed to turn down the offer their daughter interrupted them all
" I'll do it! "
