" He's saying he's your child?
Ayami questioned as she would then throw her left leg over her right, crossing her arms as Shu simply shrugged
" Do you remember having sex with anyone but me? "
Ayami added, sounding a bit irritated as Shu would then shrug again, unsure of what to say or how to say it
" Well, he says his name is Raven, he's about five years old and he reminds me of— "
Shu paused as Ayami would then tilt her head, staring at her husband with confusion.
Shu had invited her into their bedroom to talk about the child after the kid had said he was it's father, at the moment the child was resting in the living room being watched by the twins and Ean who decided to follow Shu into the castle.
" He reminds you of who? "
Ayami asked, a bit iterated that her husband was ignoring her like this, especially in this very important moment
" Ayami, this child has red hair, I doubt he's dyed it, especially at his age "
Shu said whilst rubbing his forehead, closing his eyes as his mind reverted to the pass, trying to deny the facts of who the mother of the child could be
" What are you getting at? "
Ayami replied, as Shu would then raise his head, looking at her with his cold blue eyes, his face turned completely serious
" My love, there is only one woman I know who's hair is similar to that boy's "
Shu whispered as he dragged his hand across his face, as a memory of when he was younger flashed through his mind
" We haven't met any woman with red hair "
Ayami replied as Shu would then shake his head
" No, but we've met one who's hair is pink "
Shu said, in a low tone, to which Ayami opened her eyes wide in surprise and realization
" Yuyen.. "
She whispered to which Shu nodded
" But when did you two.. "
" Two years after the war, I remember she had given me something odd to drink at a royal meeting, the day I made Ean a Duke. It couldn't have been alcohol since I can't get drunk, it wasn't poison either, but I remember an odd energy coming from it, I wouldn't have drunk it under normal circumstances, but she insisted that I drink it, so I did, then.. "
His head began to hurt as he covered his face with his hands, as the memories forced himself into his mind, and he remembered everything about the night
" She took me to a room, she stripped me of my clothes and we had sex "
Shu added, ending his small story telling only to receive a calm stare from Ayami, who then stood up from the bed on which she was sitting on
" Ayami, listen, I didn't know she was going to do that, the drink made me think irrationally, plus I didn't even remember anything, it's now that I'm getting these flashbacks, I promise I didn't—hey where are you going? "
Shu questioned as he saw Ayami walk toward the door, opening it slowly only to turn and look at her husband
" I'm going to see the kid "
She said as he walked out of the door, taking quick steps down the hallway, speeding up before stopping as she was now at the entrance of the living room, she walked in quickly, seeing both her children and Ean
" Where is he? "
Ayami questioned, only to receive an odd looking expression from Ean who was completely confused
" Where is who? "
" The kid "
Ayami replied as she would then turn her face to the left, finding the red hair boy sitting on a one seat couch
" He looks just like her "
Ayami whispered as She would then walk toward the boy, staring down at him with a calm expression
" What's your name? "
She questioned as the boy would then tilt his head, confused and trying to figure out who this lady was
" Uh—Raven "
He replied, only to be alerted the moment the woman had grabbed onto both of his shoulders
" And what's your mothers name? "
The kid blinked a few times as he tried to back up a bit, moving his head backwards
" Look lady, I don't know who you are but you're a little too clos— "
" What's your mother's name? "
Ayami repeated herself, this time with a higher and more irritated tone of voice, which frightened the child a bit
" Y-Yuyen "
The kid replied, causing Ayami to let go do his arm and take a few steps back, siting down on one of the other couches, covering her eyes with her arm
" Wait what!? "
Ean said, staring at the boy in complete surprises
" You're Yuyen's kid!?! Wait now that I think about it, you look a lot like her "
Ean added, leaving both Asami and Dio confused as they didn't know who this Yuyen was, or how she was related to any of them
" Yes, he's Yuyen's and mine "
Shu said as he walked into the room, only to be stared at by the twins and Ean who were both confused
" But, when did you even.. "
" At the day of your Royal meeting, the night I made you Duke "
Shu replied, with a tone of guilt only to be looked at by Ean with a hint of disappointment and sadness
" But how come you didn't mention any of this?.. "
The man questioned as Shu simply gripped his hands tightly
" I don't know, for some reason I couldn't remember up until now, it's probably because the kid is here that I'm having flashbacks to that day "
He said, Ean knew he was being completely honest about this, because for one he's never heard Shu lie, and two, he knew this wasn't a joke, this was too much of a serious moment for him to be kidding like this.
All of a sudden Ayami got up from the couch, turned to Shu and walked over to him, holding his cheeks with both of her hands, looking down at him with a smile, only to place a kiss on his lips.
The feeling of forgiveness had suddenly taken over all her feelings of betrayal and anger, she also heard this voice telling her to forgive her husband, the same voice that told her to share her husband with Emma Everline; the voice was extremely easy to yield to for some reason
" Ayami? "
Ean said, sounding concerned for her only for Ayami to look at him with a smile
" It's alright Ean. In any normal marriage this would be considered unacceptable, but, Shu is a person of very high status; a king. He is bound to have more than one wife "
She replied, before walking toward the exit of the room
" I'll be at our room my love, if or when you're done here, I want you to walk into the room, I have something I need to show you, oh and, it's best we send an invite to Yuyen, I want to see her "
Ayami added before walking out of the room completely, walking toward the main bedroom, as that happened Shu simply sat on the couch, sighing a bit as he would then cover his face with his hands
" What have I done.. "
