Three days went, Shu and his son spent quite a lot of time, they ate, slept, and trained all together, Shu was cold to Dio, but Dio did not care, he simply liked the fact that he was spending time with his father as well as growing strong.
Just like Shu he had this urge for fighting, an urge that could be satisfied by Shu's training regiment.
Across those days, many political affairs were handled now that Shu was back as every single one of those problems required his presence.
Another thing Shu found out about his son was that he seemed to be really smart, too smart for his age, maybe he got it from his mother, because he certainly did not get it from his father, or at least that's what everyone thought, including Shu himself.
Now the two were sparring, the two were sweating, most likely because of Shu's meditating method.
The two had no shirt on, just sweat pants and both their hairs tied in a man bun
" Your body has grown stronger "
Shu said as he took a step back, dodging one of Dio's kicks only to then grab onto his leg, throwing him into the air but before he could go far Shu would grab his foot and hurled him against the ground.
Though, to Shu's surprise his son had lowered the damage of the fall by using his palms to bounce off of the ground
" You've gained quick reflexes as well, even after our meditation, im impressed, you are much stronger than I was at your age "
Shu said, complementing his son's quick growth and strength, only to raise his right hand blocking one of his son's punches, taking a step forward to land a punch on his son's gut, sending him flying back a bit
" How are you able to move like that?… you mediated for 40 minutes, I only meditated for three "
Dio replied as he squeezed the grass on the ground, holding onto his stomach as he did so, proceeding to vomit out a lot of his saliva
" Endurance "
Shu said, answering his son's question, seeing as he began to stand, his child was truly impressive, and he unconsciously slowly began to favorite him over his daughter
" Endurance? Like resistance? "
Dio said as he patted his belly a few times as if to adjust to the pain whilst Shu simply scratched the back of his head
" Yes, in battle you will be tired, your limbs will be weak and you'll feel helpless, you must train your mind to ignore all of that so you could continue to fight, or else you'll die and most likely lose a loved one "
Shu whispered, loud enough for his son to hear. The sudden change in the atmosphere was obvious, but of course it only changed after Shu spoke
" Did you experience something like that father? "
Dio questioned whilst seeing as his father tilted his head a little, only to stare at Dio straight in the eyes
" Yes, before you were born, me and all my friends experienced such a tragedy "
Shu replied, raising his hand as he did so
" Now, forget about that and let's continue our training "
Shu ordered, only to receive a string nod from his son who was now completely recovered and just when he was about to dash toward his father the two were stopped by a voice
" Hey Shu "
This voice was very nostalgic to Shu, he knew exactly to whom it belonged, so he turned to its place of origin, seeing Ezra on top a of with Amada sitting on his shoulder
" Ezra? Why have you come here? "
Shu questioned as he would then turn his attention toward the two individuals.
Amada looked like she always did, beautiful wings, long hair that was by far bigger than her entire body, and she shined like the sun, most of her body wasn't visible, the shine worked a lot like clothes did, the difference between the two was that you could tell she wasn't wearing any.
As for Ezra, clothes didn't really fit him so he was wearing an armor, a black and blue armor that shielded his entire body but his head
" I've come back to greet you, can I not do so? "
Ezra replied as he jumped off of the tree and the minute he did the tree shook, it was pretty obvious he weighted quite a bit, but not because he was fat but rather because of his massive size.
He was a man filled with nothing but muscle, and on top of that he was 10 feet tall, he was practically a giant, especially in front of Shu and Dio who were both below average height; well, Shu was below average, Dio was still a child.
" You can but, it is odd that you did come "
Shu replied looking up at him with a calm expression, only to be looked down upon by the man
" I heard you came back so I came to say hi "
Ezra whispered as his eyes would slowly shift over to Dio, who was starting to hide behind Shu
" That must be your son "
Ezra said as Shu would then look down at Dio who gripped onto his father's pants, although Dio was brave, he new when someone was stronger than him, and this beast of a man was someone on his father's level
" Yes it is, Ayami named him Dio. Will you be staying, we can go inside and have a few drinks if you— "
" No it's fine, I just came to see how you were doing "
Ezra said, smiling a little, only to frown a bit when Amada whispered something in his ear
" Oh and to tell you something "
Ezra added, his tone shifting completely as Shu would then get serious
" There were three divine beings at the war seven years ago, I was told so by Fu before he left the planet, the two that first appeared were an angel and a god, a god far above Fu himself "
Ezra said, pausing for a little as if to allow Shu to talk but when he was about to, Ezra continued
" And then another being came, a being Fu is currently investigating, he also told me to let you know something, he told me to tell you that this being wanted to keep you alive across the war seven years ago, but that he will come back and make your life terrible, he said he will take something very precious from you and that another war will come "
Shu raised his eyebrows a bit, widening his eyes in surprise as well as confusion
" But then if that's the case why don't you stay and help us fight this war? "
Shu questioned as Ezra simply shook his head
" No, I was told by Fu to not help you, he said you needed to do this by yourself, I also feel the need to leave this planet, I feel that I need to be somewhere else, so I can not stay and help, I'm sorry "
Ezra explained as Shu simply sighed a bit, scratching the back of his head to then nod
" I understand, I will share this information with Ayami and my Elites, thank you for warning me "
Shu replied as Ezra nodded before taking a step back as Amada waved at the child with a small smile, soon the two disappeared in a blur of speed and Dio as well as Shu were left alone there to wonder what was coming.
As that happened a being far, far away sat on a throne, a throne made of bones and covered in blood.
