It was a rainy night and a young Arthur was walking with his mother on the castle's garden
" Mom! Look what's this flower called!? "
Arthur yelled as he quickly pulled his hand away from his mother's, squatting down in front of a purple rose tapping it a few times only for his mother to place her hand above his head
" Does that flower interest you my son? "
She questioned, as she would squat down next to him, carefully moving her dress in a way that would cover her legs.
The woman had beautiful blonde hair, and fair skin, there seemed to be no injury on her skin, none whatsoever, not even a mark.
Her beautiful scarlet colored eyes were closed, and carefully with her delicate hands she moved her dress aside, grabbing onto the head of one of the flowers, caressing it lovingly
" Yes I like these flowers mother, they are beautiful, like you "
Arthur replied, looking up at his mother who simply smiled at him, proceeding to place a soft and short kiss on the boy's forehead
" Well these flowers are called Lazalea "
The mother whispered as Arthur opened his mouth and his eyes in complete surprise, looking down at the flowers then back up at her
" Lazalea? That's your name isn't it mother? "
Arthur questioned, seeming very intrigued in these flowers, as his mother simply chuckled, patting his head a few times
" Yes, I was named after them, do you wanna know why? "
The woman now known as Lazalea replied, only to receive quick nods from her son, who held onto her thigh with enthusiasm
" Well, these flowers never die, you can cut them, melt them or freeze them, but they will never perish, and every 13 days at night they become these beautiful purple fireflies and fly into the moon, and once they're there they fuse with the moon and look down on us, like our ancestors, like my father "
Lazalea added causing her son to open his mouth completely wide in surprise
" Are they looking down us now? "
Arthur questioned, to then turn his attention to the crescent moon, currently hovering over earth
" You ready? "
Lazalea whispered in Arthur's ear to then kiss his cheek, picking him up from the ground, holding him on her arms to then point at the moon, which was suddenly covered up by thousands of purple fireflies
" Mom! Look! "
Arthur yelled as he pointed at the fireflies, stretching his hands out in an attempt to grab one
" No, you can't keep them Arthur, or else they'll never be able to go to the moon and watch over us "
His mother whispered as Arthur would look up at her, listening to what she said, pulling his hand away, but one of the fireflies had attached itself onto his fingers, and soon many more came, flying all around the boy to the surprise of his mother
" I guess they like you "
Lazalea whispered in his ear, to then kiss his head, smiling a little as both their eyes turned purple from all the light the fireflies were releasing
" Did they ever like you mother? "
Arthur asked, looking up at her, giggling as the fireflies crawled all over him, to then fly away, following the others who went ahead
" Yes, when I was your age they would fly around me every time. They also flew around your older brother when he was younger "
She explained, causing him to smile as he looked up at the sky seeing all the fireflies fly to the moon
" Really?.. "
Arthur whispered and with that, he opened his eyes, blinking a few times as he was now staring at the half destroyed moon hovering over earth
" How's the fight going? "
Arthur questioned as he rubbed his eyes, sighing a little only to then turn his attention toward Shu who seemed to be meditating
" Wow, you actually fell asleep "
Ayami said as Arthur would then turn to look at her, yawning a bit to then look back up at the moon
" Oh yeah—the fight, well they've been at it for a while, they've seen to have closed in though, luckily they haven't destroyed the moon or any other planet, besides Mars of course "
Ayami explained as Arthur nodded, standing up, walking over to the water that traveled around the hole in which half a continent once existed.
The water didn't flood the hole, but rather moved around it
" I suggest we all start to save up energy, once they come down here they'll be out of energy, and if Fu loses we'll have to deal with my father ourselves. Although Fu has been weakened there's no way my father will come out unscathed after a battle with the strongest human "
Arthur said, as he would then turn to look at the group who simply stared at him
" He has a point "
Ezra added, sighing whilst placing his hands on his hips
" Let's make sure our energy is fully replenished before they come back, I suggest absorbing the sanctuary energy from the water around us, it's the purest form we can absorb at the moment "
Ezra ordered as everyone sat down on the ground, beginning to mediate along with Shu
" Hahaha!! Fu, finally, finally we fight equally!! "
Thyre yelled as he stretched his arms out, only to dodge one of Fu's punched seconds later, chuckling a little to then look down at him
" How does it feel? "
" I wouldn't say I like the feeling of being equal to you "
Fu replied, appearing behind the man to then grab him by his head, pulling him back only to hurl him with all his current strength out of the solar system
" Let's fight out here, where earth isn't in danger "
Fu added as he then tapped his knuckles together, causing slight shocks that crapped the space around him a little
" You're right, after all I don't need to threaten it to keep you at bay, your injury is doing so for me "
Thyre replied, smiling a little as he pointed at Fu's side, which had a hole on it from which blood spilled and quickly froze
" You think a little loss of blood is gonna stop me? This is but a scratch "
