Shu said to himself as he sat on the floor, behind Tristen's house, which he recently just destroyed
" Alright "
He whispered to himself as blue energy began to surround his body, which then began to glow a bright white, blinding anyone who saw it, once the energy stopped shining, all that could be seen now was a blue bubble around the boy
" If I remember correctly, grandpa told me that to enter image training all I have to do is imagine an enemy and imagine my current self against them "
He said as he then took in a deep breath, exhaling seconds later whilst slowly closing his eyes, his field of vision turning dark as his mind began to put together an specific situation.
Shu, Ean and Arthur standing against Romulus ready to fight. Lighting was striking violently against the ground, causing Romulus's figure who was atop of a castle to flicker in a dark blue light.
The three boys smiled and dashed upwards, heading toward the man, but all that soon stopped as Fu fell from the sky, standing in between them all
" Shu—finally, think fucking god you're image training "
Fu said as reality around Shu and him began to crack, collapsing on itself a few seconds later as Fu placed his hands on top of Shu's shoulders
" Listen, I don't know where I am not right now, but, I'm in a completely different planet, and according to how far your energy seems to be, I'm most likely in another galaxy "
The man added as Shu simply tilted his head, confused as to what the man was talking about, which irritated Fu
" Look, I'm not very sure if you can understand anything of what I'm saying but, do not! And I mean do not, fight Romulus till I come back. If I don't come back in a year's time span then by all means fight him, but before then, please refrain from doing so "
As Fu said those words, Shu opened his eyes, staring at the bubble that he formed around himself before starting his image training
" The hell was that? I guess my mastery over image training isn't as good as I thought it'd be, well, that leaves me with no other choice "
The boy said to himself, smiling somewhat as he began to stand, the bubble disappearing whilst he stood
" I'll have to rely in the old and handy, shadow training "
He added, as he let his arms muscles rest, leaving them hang from his shoulders whilst slowly raising his right knee
" instead of speed and strength I'll have to focus in more technique, in case I meet someone above my own level I'll be able to compensate with skill "
The boy whispered, as he began to raise his leg as high as he could, but before he could move another inch he was interrupted by Ayami's voice
" Shu, breakfast is ready "
She said as she placed a plate of food on top of a rock for Shu to eat
" Oh, what's for breakfast? "
The boy questioned as he walked toward the plate
" Well, this place doesn't have a lot of food diversity so, it's just meat and eggs "
Ayami said as she sat next to the plate whilst Shu simply lowered his leg, turning to look at the food she just brought him
" Looks good "
He replied, smiling as he walked over to the plate, picking it up to then sit down on the rock his plate was resting on
" Oh and, here's a fork "
Ayami said, smiling at the boy's innocent look face before handing him the item, which he gladly grabbed, stabbing it on the meat, proceeding to bring the food up to his mouth
" So how is it? "
She asked, watching the boy chew, carefully analyzing his expression
" It's good "
He replied, smiling as he swallowed the piece of meat he was chewing
" Really? "
She questioned, as her eyes opened wide, seeming excited for his next answer
" Yes. Who cooked it? "
He replied, answering her question whilst asking one of his own
" Well, mother made the food but, I made sure to make this portion just for you and I also— "
She couldn't finish her sentence, not when Shu had just placed a piece of meat in front of her
" Want some? It's really good "
He said, as she simply shook her head, proceeding to carefully push his hand away
" No, I'm fine, I already ate, besides it looked like you were training so you're probably tired and hungry "
She replied, denying his offer, making him shrug to then eat the piece he intended to give her
" Well, I'm not really hungry, in actuality, I didn't even get to train, I was about to start some image training but then it got screwed up when Fu popped out of nowhere and ordered me not to fight Romulus for some reason— "
Shu explained, interrupting himself by continuing to eat, staring at the small bits of grass that began to grow
" Oh look, nature is starting to— "
" You too!?!? "
Ayami yelled, startling the boy who was about to eat one of the eggs, as well as causing him to drop all his food on the ground
" Oh man, that tasted—Whats wrong with you? Why are you yelling? "
Shu replied, staring at the ground with disappointment in his face, watching as the food got covered in dirt
" You had a dream about Fu as well? "
Ayami questioned, as Shu simply stared at her, whilst eating the egg he managed to grab his fork
" It wasn't much of a dream but— "
He was interrupted yet again, this time not by himself but by Ayami who pulled on his clothes, dragging him across the ground
" If we both had a dream where Fu warned us about Romulus then it's only natural everyone else had one too, so we need to check, and find out if it was a coincidence or not "
She explained, her face filled with determination as she dragged him along, which of course, Shu allowed.
