" I've been wondering for a bit "
Shu said as he dashed backwards, sliding through the ground as if to back away from the exchange of blows he and Vladimir were having
" Wondering? "
The man questioned as the electricity around him was soon consumed by his purple aura, mixing theirselves into an even bigger release of energy
" I've been wondering about you're power, you're pretty strong, I'd say you've completely mastered the first three levels of control, beginner, enhance and discern, but it seems like you can't even awaken can you? "
Shu replied, as he slowly brought his right hand to the back of his head, scratching it slightly to then sigh
" Have you completely lost it? You're speaking nothing but gibberish now, did the drugs I forced in you affect your brain? "
Vladimir questioned as Shu simply stared at him, seemingly disappointed in the man
" This battle is no longer fun, i guess it's about time I've killed you "
Shu said to himself, moving his hand away from his head, just his arm down, letting it hang from his shoulder just like his left.
" Spiritual Awakening: Martial mode- All arts "
The boy exclaimed as his wounds began to heal, whilst his energy started to spread all over the ground, lighting up the cracks on the floor that their fight created.
The place no longer looked like a huge crater, instead it looked more like a clear ocean and at the center was Shu, the procreator of said "Ocean".
The blue energy began to rise up from each side of the crater, beginning to spin around to then crash against each other, moving all over the sky before exploding into millions of particles, giving even more light to the no longer snowing village.
Those particles would then gather together forming a huge western like dragon. The dragon would then roar loudly, spreading its arms and wings to then fly down at fasts speeds, crashing against the boy, not before opening its mouth, as if attempting to eat Shu.
Soon after crashing the dragon would explode into thousands of particles, the same particles that built it up earlier.
Those little dots would then fly over to Shu, engraving themselves inside of his skin, muscles, and organs, giving birth to the boy's new form.
He had on a blue glowing, Haori, which sat above a white like long sleeve shirt. A hakama colored in blue and white, along with blue Tabi's and white Zori.
Every colored shined like the sun in the afternoon, of course, those weren't the only changes. His hair was now blue, and it levitated, defying gravity itself.
His skin was pale and it glowed like his clothes, and finally his eyes, which completely contradicted the colors that were already mentioned.
His eyes were of a pure pitch black, although as dark as they were, they were the most noticeable thing amongst the changes, and finally, above it all, he was bathed in a divine white aura.
" What is this?... "
Vladimir whispered, unable to say anything else, this, beautiful new state the boy had just taken was something he has never seen before, was this the awakening he was asking about
" What did you just do? "
Vladimir continued, questioning the boy yet again, but to his confusion all he saw was Shu raise his right arm as high as it could be raised, to then open his hand.
His fingers would stand straight and so did his wrist, but, what the man didn't expect was that the boy would quickly swing his arm down, and from that motion, a white string of energy would form and slam down against the ground, digging deep into.
Though that wasn't what caught the man by surprise, what did was the fact that his arm was no longer attached to his body, it simply slipped out, allowing the blood from his shoulder to spray all over the place.
" huh? "
Vladimir uttered to then turn his attention to the limb that was just recently removed from his body, staring at it as if he was staring at a foreign object, seconds later he began to scream, as his brain made him feel the pain that his shoulder was currently experiencing.
" What is that energy? "
Ayami whispered as she landed on the ground, quickly grabbing Tristen mother, who she was chasing by her arms, pulling her back, hugging her tightly so she wouldn't escape, though, those plans were soon burnt to the ground, as her attention was captivated by Shu's new form.
She didn't expect to chase so far for Tristen's mother that she'd end up right where Shu didn't want her to be, but that didn't matter to her now, what did was Shu's new transformation
" An awakening normally surrounds your body with the embodiment of what your ability is, but if you don't have one, all you receive is a boost in strength, no physical changes, and as for as I know, Shu has no abilities, so why does he look so... "
Ayami stopped her thoughts, just to keep staring at the boy
" Different? "
She asked herself, as she saw the boy walk over to Vladimir who was gripping his shoulder in an attempt to stop the bleeding, bringing the shine that his body emitted along with him
" No! Stop! Don't kill him please!! "
Tristen's mother yelled as she jumped on top of Vladimir's body, covering it with her's as Shu simply stared down at them
" Move, I promised him I'd kill him, and I'll do just that—so get out of my way "
Shu said as blade began to materialize above his head, a very sharp blade
" That voice.. "
Were Vladimir's thoughts beneath the pain he felt as he heard the woman plead with Shu to let him live
" Don't tell me... please god, don't let my last moments be lies "
The man prayed as he opened his once closed eyes to take a look at the woman who was currently protecting him, only to smile whilst tears flooded wildly from his eyes
" Vivian, darling... "
Vladimir questioned with all the strength he could currently muster, his loss of blood didn't allow him any more words
" Vladimir! "
The woman now known as Vivian replied, turning to look down at him, smiling back at him
" You need to move, I owe this boy my death "
Vladimir whispered as he used all the current strength on his body to sit up, moving the woman aside, proceeding to stand even if it took all he had
" Can you make so that she doesn't get hurt while you kill me? "
The man questioned, as Shu simply stared at them, proceeding to weave his wrist to a side, using his energy to move Vivian aside, forming a wall with that same energy, stopping her from getting any closer
" Thank you "
Vladimir said as he took in a deep breath closing his eyes as he began to think ' If only I knew she was alive, I wouldn't have caused so much torment '
" I understand "
Shu whispered causing the man to open his eyes, staring at the boy becoming intrigued in what he had to say
" I understand how it feels to know that someone you love is dead, if I could bring back that person i would do anything, to do so and by the looks of it.. "
Shu paused as he turned to look at Vivian who was simply screaming, begging Shu not to kill Vladimir whilst she slammed her hands and fists against the wall of energy
" That woman looks a lot like the one in that container thingy, so I'm going to assume you tried to bring her back—-Oh man, if only we could've met at the right time and in the right conditions, we would've been best friends "
Shu continued, his voice beginning to crack as he then covered his eyes with his right hand stopping himself from dropping any tears
" But unfortunately, I can not get rid of the grudge I have for you, being tortured for months isn't something I'll ever forget "
Shu added, ending his speech before relaxing his arm allowing it to slip out of his face, and leaving it to hang from his shoulder
" Life is unfair "
Shu whispered before thrusting his arm forward, piercing through the man's chest, causing his heart to explode and soon his death to come.
