" I can't use any sanctuary energy, or else Yuyen would get hurt, but... "
Shu whispered, as the veins on his legs became noticeable, his muscles grew bigger as a smile of excitement appeared on his face
" I can add a little bit more of my effort into it "
He added, with a gigantic grin of excitement on his face, as he calmly jumped a few inches into the air, allowing his body to glide above the rooftops without touching them, but then, all of a sudden, he would stomp both of his feet against the ground, shouting himself into the sky, way above Ean and Arthur, spinning his body around and doing flips in the air as Yuyen held onto his clothes tightly
" Hahaha!! "
Shu began to laugh, as he glided through the air, his eyes wide open as Arthur and Ean looked up at him
" How is he able to jump that high? "
Arthur questioned, raising his eyebrows, with a bit of visible shock on his face as all Ean could do was laugh, not wanting to answer Arthur's question verbally.
Soon, after a few minutes, the four of them would land on the ground, Arthur lowered his ice well enough for him to jump off of it, while Ean simply flew down, but Shu crashed his entire body weight against the ground, creating a small crater.
" What are we doing here? "
Shu questioned, walking out of the crater with Yuyen on his arms, proceeding to place her down on the ground a few seconds later
" Well, we're going for a run "
Arthur replied as the four of them stood in front of a gigantic wall, 600 meters in height, with a gate half its size in the middle
" Isn't this just the edge of the Kingdom? "
Ean questioned, as he looked at the gate very carefully
" Well of course, how will we run laps around the kingdom if we don't exit it first? "
Arthur said, pulling out a small blue marble from his pocket, hurling it toward the middle of the gate, making it sink inside of a small hole.
Blue lines of energy would then begin to spread from the door's hole, as the door broke apart into multiple sections which sank inside of the wall, giving the four a view of what it looked like outside of the Kingdom
" Come on "
Arthur said, as he walked out, being followed by the other three, with a bit of hesitation from both Ean and Yuyen, who held onto Shu's clothing.
As soon as they stepped foot outside of the kingdom, the gate shot close making Ean and Yuyen look back at it with a bit of concern on their faces
" Well, we can start here "
Arthur exclaimed, spreading his arms, as if to enlighten Shu and the others to their surroundings, noticing that they were in a field
" This is great! I'll be able to run at Max speed if it's in a place like this "
Shu pointed out while stretching his legs with a smile on his face as Yuyen looked down at her a bit confused
" Oh. Yuyen, you should back up a bit, you'll get hurt if you stand too close "
Shu said, slightly pushing her back as she nodded, doing as he ordered her to, standing a few feet away from him with a small smile on her face
" You guys too "
Shu ordered, stretching his arms, seeing as Ean and Arthur didn't move out of the way
" No thanks, we're planning on going on a run ourselves "
Ean exclaimed, whilst pointing his own thumb toward his chest, moving closer to Shu, standing next to him, getting ready to run.
Arthur of course, did the same thing, standing on the other side as Shu stood in the middle
" Oh well, suit yourself "
Shu replied, doing small leaps right after stretching as if to warm himself up, and just when he was about to land on the ground right after one of his leaps, he would dash forward, causing a massive burst of wind, leaving a crater behind with nothing more but a loud exploding sound, that made everyone in the close vicinity cover their ears
" Isn't that the noice that an object makes when they move at the speed of sound? "
Ean questioned, with a nervous smile on his face. He was in awe, his best friend just couldn't stop impressing him
" To move that fast right at the start, I wonder what his max speed is "
Arthur thought to himself, as Shu quickly ran passed them, dragging them forward a bit due to the pressure of wind that was circulating around his body
" He was able to lap around the kingdom in just a few seconds? "
Arthur said to himself as he slowly widened up his eyes, watching as the white-haired boy rushed forward
" I can't believe I was even considering myself to be above this guy, he's fucking insane "
Arthur whispered, chuckling a bit as he started to stretch, preparing himself to run as well, but a huge gust of dirt was suddenly created next to the three kids, which made them highly alert to danger
" Someone made me trip "
Shu's voice was heard as the dirt slowly dispersed, Shu's body seemed to have been dragged across the field, and stopped at the point in which he found himself in currently, creating a crater from which he slowly began to walk out of
" Someone made you trip? "
Ean questioned, as he saw Shu walk, scratching the back of his head with his new clothes ripped apart in certain sections with dirt covering it
" Yeah, and it looks like they're slowly making their way over here "
Shu replied, shoving his hands inside of his pockets as he stared up at the sky with a calm expression on his face
" Wow, you actually survived that!? "
A woman's voice was heard, as another loud exploding sound was heard. Something had landed next to them, and it wasn't a meteor or an object, but a person, with a very irritating laugh, which was heard across that entire section of the field
" I guess I wouldn't expect less from the man my sister considers her master "
The voice said, as the dirt and air that was gathered slowly dispersed, revealing who had fallen from the sky.
It was a woman with long red hair, green eyes, and pale skin, wearing a tight golden armor, which suited her elegant and majestic-looking body, next to her was Alice, who hid behind her
" I've come to challenge you to a fight, Shu Hellgard!! "
The woman yelled, causing Shu's eyes to squint as a gigantic almost devilish grin of excitement grew on his face
