" Hey Ean "
Shu said as he stood next to Ean outside of the academy. It was dark, but the lights throughout the kingdom lit up the place, enough for them to see everything around them
" Yes? "
Ean questioned, as he began to walk away from the academy's grounds, being followed by Shu
" I'm not from this kingdom, I'm actually a spy, sent here to gather information "
Shu replied, staring at Ean's back with a serious look on his face. He expected Ean to jump back and attack him, but the boy simply kept walking
" I know "
Ean replied, scratching the back of his head before turning to look at Shu
" I mean, I kind of knew from the beginning. A commoner kid, as strong as experts suddenly beats up the strongest kid at the academy. "
Ean added, staring at Shu who just stood there in surprise
" It isn't every day that you find commoners as strong as you Shu. Maybe you should've kept your power hidden or something "
Ean continued, leaving Shu speechless. Shu did not know what to do, if he didn't know if he needed to be alert or happy that his friend kept his secret for so long
" Then why haven't you told anybody yet? "
Shu questioned, receiving nothing but a stare instead
" Well, If I did, we wouldn't be friends, would we? "
Ean replied, placing his hands behind his head, as all Shu could do was smile
" Thanks "
Shu whispered as the moon lit up a bit, shining brightly above the kingdom
" Hey I'm hungry man, let's get something to eat "
Shu said, destroying the small moment they had before rubbing his stomach, while a growling sound slipped out of it
" But aren't you having dinner with the king today? "
Ean questioned, making Shu, who was about to run, stop
" Oh yeah... "
Shu whispered, scratching the back of his head before smiling
" Ok then, let's have a race! "
Shu exclaimed, making Ean raise an eyebrow in return
" A race to where? "
Ean questioned, wanting to know what Shu was scheming
" The king's castle! Whoever gets there second is a dumbass!! "
The albino boy declared before grabbing Ean by the back of his head, slamming his face against the ground before jumping 90 feet up in the air.
Not wanting to be left behind, Ean followed along, but a hit hesitant about it at first
" I think you've already taken the title of dumbass!! "
Ean yelled, dashing through the kingdom in chase of Shu, who did the same but flawlessly
" Where the hell did he learn those acrobatics... it's like he's a monkey "
Ean whispered, following the boy's lead, screwing up most of the time, yet adapting slowly as the race went on, and finally, they had reached the castle
" Yes! I win!! "
Shu yelled, jumping all around the place, being watched by the guards who protected the gigantic castle they were standing in front of
" Shu what the hell is your problem!?! "
Ean yelled, making the already mentioned boy turn and look at him with an excessively innocent expression
" What do you mean? "
Shu questioned while placing his finger underneath his chin, trying to think about what wrong he had done
" We literally trashed a lot of property while racing over to this trash of a castl... "
Ean stopped his sentence, looking around, seeing as the guards stared at him, glaring at him with the intent to kill.
" This castle isn't trash, it's cool as hell. Everywhere you look all you can see is the castle, if you were to put a portion of the kingdom together, this castle would be just that "
Shu said, complementing the massive structure that was the castle, making the guards nod in agreement, but before the contemplating could continue, the king himself made his way out of the castle, with Arthur by his side. They both seemed to dressed for the occasion, whereas, Shu, wasn't.
" Apologies for suddenly appearing at your doorstep. Sir—mister, mister sir "
Ean exclaimed, attempting to apologize on Shu's behalf, stumbling and stuttering over his words, trying his best to not be disrespectful to the king, whilst bowing his head, but to his surprise, all Shu was doing was picking his nose
" Shu, you idiot, bow your head! "
Ean ordered, pulling Shu's shirt, making him frown in irritation
" Grandpa said to only bow to those I consider my masters, and this guy is just a man living in a big house! "
Shu yelled, pulling his arm away, to relieve himself from Ean's grip
" No! You can't say that! Apologize! "
Ean yelled in return, smacking Shu's head, beginning an argument about whether Shu should bow or not
" Please sir, forgive this foolish bastard "
Ean said, looking over at the king while holding onto Shu's face
" No, it's quite alright "
Romulus replied, waving his hand at the boy, before turning to look at Shu
" Well, let's eat, and bring your friend along "
Romulus said as he began to walk back to the castle being followed by his son Arthur who peaked over at Shu, who looked back at him with a grin
" Thank your majesty! "
Ean said, bowing his head before following him, dragging Shu along.
The four of them walked through 6 hallways, each one of them being relatively long, before reaching what seemed to be the dining room, with a big table in the middle, big enough for two families of seven, but all it had was four chairs, one at every end, and one on the left side and right side
" Let us eat "
Romulus announced, sitting on one of the chairs, which was the one at the end of table, as Shu sat across from the other side, whilst Ean and Arthur sat in the middle, Ean feeling a bit uncomfortable from Arthur's sudden glares
" Our foods please! "
Romulus exclaimed, clapping his hands three times, as five maids and four butlers filled the room, walking in with carriages of food, laying all of it on the table, most of it was of course stake, and drinks
" Please don't let the food get cold, eat "
Romulus said, watching as Ean looked at the food with a hesitant expression, meanwhile, Shu just began to eat
" And don't worry about the amount, my servants have made plenty "
Romulus added, seeing as Ean grabbed a fork and a knife, eating of the food slowly, whilst Shu practically absorbed every piece of food he put in his mouth, not bothering to chew most of the time.
