Asai would walk toward the arena, his eyes were those of a warrior, and his stance one of experience. He would unsheathe his Katana slowly as he entered the ring, a red aura spewing from it like a violent fire with a touch of electricity in between the flame-like aura
" This could have not been a better match! "
The man yelled as he flew around in the air, his voice being amplified by the yellow rock in front of his face.
" One swordsman, against another. A perfect battle! Wouldn't you all agree!? "
The man screamed, questioning the crowd, receiving loud cheering in return
" With that being said, let's hope that this match doesn't turn out to be one-sided like the last one "
The man said, chuckling a bit in an attempt to ease the crowd's stressful reaction to the last match.
As that happened, Ean would also walk toward the ring, unsheathing his blade as he did so, and the moment he did, a blue aura burst out from the blade and sheathe itself, which would then surround Ean's body, before slowly vanishing
" I'm glad that this tournament gave me the chance to fight against another swordsman, let this be an honorable and enjoyable battle "
Asai commented as he swung his blade to a side, walking toward Ean who did the same, whilst resting the back of his blade on his right shoulder.
In a matter of a second, they would both appear in the middle of the ring, swinging their weapons at the same time. Ean targeted Asai's stomach with an upper swing, using his right hand, while Asai targeted Ean's head with a downward swing, using both of his hands.
As their blades slowly reached their destination, they suddenly bursted into a blur of speed, appearing on another part of the ring, swinging their blades at the same time, just like before.
Both of them targeting only their neck, Ean taking the left side while Asai took the right, and like before, when their blades were about to make contact, they disappeared in a blur, leaving nothing but a gust of wind behind
" Woah, are you guys seeing this? They're moving crazy fast "
Leo said as he ran his right fingers through his green hair, his mouth wide open in surprise
" Well that much is obvious, I can barely keep up myself "
Eran said as if insinuating as if he himself was faster than them
" You nobles are pathetic, incapable of keeping up with two peasants is a disgrace "
Arthur interrupted, crossing his arms as he watched the fight.
Each move that Ean and Asai made was at the exact same time but none of the attacks they tried using impacted at all, as they would simply disappear, reappear, and attempt again
" Well, I guess it is a bit pathetic, even though you guys' energy is very low, I was expecting a bit more, because, at the end of the day, I'll be fighting you all "
Shu said, his legs crossed while sitting on the ground with his hands above his knees, as he watched the fight
" Well, technically, you'll be fighting only two of us master. The one who wins the current fight, and the one who wins the other two fights "
Alice pointed out; correcting the ignorant boy
" Oh, yeah, you're right "
Shu replied, chuckling a bit as all the participants stared at him, a bit offended at the boy's arrogance.
As their conversation went on, Ean and Asai were exchanging blows, their blades clashing against each other, creating shockwaves that cracked the ground below them.
They would disappear after a bit, appearing in the air, Asai holding his weapon up, swinging it down in an attempt to strike Ean down, but the black-haired boy would turn to a side, dodging the slash, as the pressure from the attack left a sword-like marking on the ring.
In return, Ean would attempt to cut off Asai's legs, swinging his blade horizontally, but he would dive forward, leaning on Ean's shoulder with his left hand, pushing himself up in the air, and the moment he did, both of them disappeared in a loud blur, reappearing on the ring.
" It seems like we're equally matched "
Asai pointed out, while slowly sliding his left fingers through his blade, a cut on the back of his hand becoming noticeable, as blood slid through it.
" I suppose so "
Ean replied as he cleaned away a bit of blood that was falling from his right cheek while resting the back of his blade on his right shoulder
" How about we add a little bit more effort into this fight "
Asai suggested as he squeezed the handle of his Katana, red electricity violently sparking from his body and blade, the tip of the bolts slicing through the ring's ground, burning it in the process, his hair rising up along with the electricity
" I agree "
Ean replied as lowered his blade, down to the height of his legs, as a blue fiery energy began to surround it, all of a sudden, that energy bursted into a wide version of itself, crushing the ground below it, as it slowly surrounded his body, his veins fighting against his skin's tissue, becoming noticeable in the process
" That's about 40 percent I think "
Shu said as he watched the fight, scratching the back of his head, a smile ruling his expression as he watched
" 40 Percent? "
Alice questioned as she turned to look down at Shu
" Wait, are you saying he's only using 40 percent of his strength before? "
Eran questioned, chuckling a bit, as he leaned forward, looking down at Shu with his eyes wide open
" Something like that "
Shu replied, turning to look back at the boy, a smirk growing on his face as he did so.
" Ready when you are "
Ean said as he began to walk toward Asai, each one of his steps creating cracks on the ground
" I already am "
Asai replied, oppositely walking toward Ean, as the electricity that engulfed him burned the ground that it touched, and in the blink of an eye, they would both appear in the center of the arena, traces of their power trailing behind them, as the ground that was below it, was either broken apart or melted into magma.
