After getting the new mission, Albert marched toward the goblin army without fear. He knew that the goblins might be uncontrollable, but his job was to kill as many goblins as possible.
So, the moment he reached the furthest goblin on the left, he struck it with his Bonk Smasher and killed the goblin in an instant.
He continued his way toward the center. At that time, he saw Aran fighting the Goblin General in the corner of his eyes.
Aran thrust his spear to the Goblin General's neck, only to be blocked by its large sword. After that, the Goblin General waved his sword to blow Aran's spear.
Aran managed to hold his spear easily. As they both had the same giant build, Aran spun his body and kicked the goblin on the stomach.
As one would expect, the Goblin General easily stopped it with his blade. He was pushed back for a few feet, but it didn't injure the Goblin General.
The Goblin General raised his sword as flame-like light came out of the sword, hovering around it as if a green flame was burning the blade.
"A spell?" Aran widened his eyes as he used something similar. A green light shone on his spear's blade as he struck the blade with his spear.
A gale blew away all the flame covering the sword, resulting in them neutralizing each other.
Now that the Goblin General didn't have anything special in his sword, Aran playfully pulled his spear, inviting the goblin in.
With the force the Goblin General released to hit Aran's spear, he ended up taking a few steps forward.
Aran hurriedly used this chance to slide the blade to the spear's handle to gain more control over his spear. After that, he elbowed the Goblin General's chest and pushed him back.
Aran didn't let him go with just a few steps back, so he spun his body and kicked the Goblin General on the waist.
The Goblin General tripped and fell to the ground.
Aran fixed his grips before charging toward the Goblin General.
The latter tried to stand up, but Aran managed to strike him first, pinning him down.
"Roar!" The Goblin General let out a roar, alarming the goblins nearby.
A few goblins not far from him immediately turned around to help him by attacking Aran, but several adventurers killed them from behind.
"Thanks, boys!" Aran smirked and kicked the Goblin General's jaw.
Blood started to flow out of his mouth as one of his teeth fell off. The Goblin General gritted his teeth and tried to push Aran back but to no avail.
Suddenly, a red-colored fire flew toward him like a ball.
Aran was startled and instinctively waved his spear.
"Spear Burst." A green light shone on his spear's blade and released a powerful gale that dispersed the fire.
Aran widened his eyes when he saw another goblin standing not far from them. The goblin was slightly bigger than the normal one.
Instead of wearing a hide to cover their lower body, this goblin had a long dark robe that covered his entire body. His right hand held a wooden staff with a small red gem on top of it.
"Goblin Shaman?" Aran was shocked when he saw the goblin's appearance. He forgot for a second that he was fighting the Goblin General.
The latter took this opportunity to stand up, arrive before him and hit him from above.
"Kh." Aran gritted his teeth and raised his spear's handle to block his sword, but the Goblin Shaman simply used this chance to attack him again.
Another fireball flew and made a parabolic movement in the air.
Aran knew that the fireball would hit his head and kill him, so he stomped the ground and spun his body, hitting the fireball with his spear again.
He somehow dispersed the fireball again, but the Goblin General had finally gotten the chance to injure him.
He swung his blade from above. Aran didn't know whether he could escape death or not when dealing with this strike, so he was trying to come up with something to avoid dying.
"Not good." Knowing he couldn't escape, Aran ultimately frowned and raised his hand, planning to sacrifice it to stay alive.
Suddenly, a Demon Dog with golden fur came to the corner of his vision. He waved his wooden bat and hit the Goblin General's head.
A loud bonk resounded on the battlefield as the Goblin General was blown away.
"Wha—!" Aran was completely shocked as he never expected Albert to help him.
Little did he know, he was lured by the temptation of getting the EXP from the Goblin General and Goblin Shaman, so he came to fight them.
Seeing the Goblin Shaman was about to cast another spell, Albert raised his hand as another Bonk Bat appeared out of thin air.
"Bonk Arrow," Albert shouted to scare the Goblin Shaman. He thought the Goblin Shaman would get startled and cancel his spell if he scared him.
However, the Goblin Shaman managed to release his spell, launching it to Albert.
The Bonk Bat struck the fireball. The latter exploded and engulfed the Bonk Bat before knocking it away.
But because the explosion produced enough smoke to cover him, Albert took that chance to come closer to the Goblin Shaman. He emerged from the smoke while swinging his Bonk Bat from below.
The shaman was surprised and tried to leap backward to avoid his strike, but Albert was faster.
He completed his swing and struck at the shaman's crotch. And the worst part was the fact Albert used his Bonk Discharge in this swing.
Not only did the shaman feel like something was breaking inside, but his crotch also got electrocuted to the point foam started to come out of his mouth.
"Ki…" He let out a small but continuous shrill as he lost his ability to speak before he fell to the ground with his body shaking uncontrollably.
"Bonk complete." Albert made a smug smile and felt proud of himself.
