Albert was completely overwhelmed by the conversation to the point he returned to his own tent while shaking his head from time to time.
"Teacher. What happened to you?" Yale came to him with a frown, asking.
"I heard the enemies are retreating." Irena came to him as well, explaining the situation she heard from the soldiers. "The vampire king seemed to have kneeled in front of everyone, surrendering to Master. Though, the details why he did it are unknown because no one could hear them."
"Kneeling?" Yale widened his eyes, shocked. As a royalty, he perfectly understood what it meant to kneel in front of others. Unless they were a true ruler, even the princes and princesses wouldn't kneel, let alone a new noble like Albert.
Even with his status as Lilith's fiance, it wasn't enough to make the vampire king kneeled. Hence, he knew there must be another reason for that.
After a long sigh, Albert explained the story from the start.
